Harbour highlights

Down by the port, life ticks by at a leisurely pace. Admire the glitzy yachts, embark on a boat trip or take the plunge at the scuba diving centre. Evenings here are all about tucking into the freshly grilled catch of the day at one of the seafront restaurants.

A colourful celebration

Like the rest of the island, Tazacorte loves to celebrate which is why every year, it plays host to Love Festival, an LGBTQ+ event that fills town with music, parades and pride. Another favourite festival among locals is Caballos Fufos, which is held every September.

Your day, your way

Whether it’s hiking or dolphin-spotting boat trips, Tazacorte is packed with things to do. For panoramic views, Mirador de Las Hoyas reigns supreme, while the black-sand beach has got sunbathing and swimming covered. Did you know, there’s even a banana museum here?
