A picture-perfect paradise
This quaint town’s home to a tangle of narrow cobbled streets, lined with sugar-cube buildings clad with bougainvillea and bright blue doors and shutters. Mykonos Town’s Old Town is purposely maze-like, designed centuries ago to confuse raiders. Embrace the opportunity to get lost and you’ll likely stumble across dinky boutiques that hide around every corner selling trinkets and jewellery.
Charming Little Venice
The well-heeled flock to this pretty quarter of Mykonos Town for its prime view and watering holes. Studded with colourful Venetian architecture and lapped by the dazzling sea, Little Venice is teeming with bars and restaurants that wrap around the harbour and look out across to the iconic wheat mills. It’s the best place to experience the town’s jaw-dropping sunset and after dark atmosphere.
Throughout summer, Mykonos Town’s beaches are the place to be seen. There are plenty of sun-kissed patches within walking distance for you to laze by the sea. Shallow waters, a quiet atmosphere and long reef at sandy Megali Ammos make it ideal for relaxation. While fun-loving Paradise Beach is a 15-minute drive away and renowned for its lively beach bars.
