TRH Tirant Playa

The staff was all amazing, everybody was friendly and polite, always ready to help or have a chat with us. The buffet for the meals offered a variety of dishes, suitable for vegetarians as well and everything was absolutely delicious. We tried the all inclusive formula and we were not disappointed at all. The apartment was a bit "of fashioned", and the only problem we had was with the mattresses which was not comfortable at all. We didn't have any problems with noises during the night. The hotel is situated in the north, 5minutes walkout distance from the beach. It took us quite a lot of time taking the bus in order to reach Maó and Ciutadella and in order to plan other activities. You should consider the location if you want to explore around or experience any activity.

Had a lovely week at this hotel. Food was very nice and plenty of it as well. Close to lovely beach and different restaurants if you want to eat out for a change. Reception staff very friendly and helpful as well. Will definitely go back.

Food wasn't up too much. Not a good variety for adults especially children. Drinks good. Not enough staff 1 person attended to bar he also was clearing tables and collecting cups from pool side. Stairs very dangerous I broke my wrist as I tripped up. No bannisters very narrow. It is hilly. Not enough as of shops or restaurants about. We never got clean bedding for a week or toilet roll. No clean towels.

Quiet location. Only two small supermarkets and a couple of restaurants. Great place to escape it all and relax. Fornells is a lovely 30 min walk and great if you like seafood. Not much for kids. Mine were 8 and 10 , met a couple of friends but enjoyed a quiet family break this time round. No entertainment or even music at pool.

This was the first time we had been to this part of Menorca and this hotel. We had a super week at this hotel. Our apartment was third floor up and overlooking the pool area and the beach across the road. Although we only had a fan in the bedroom and no air conditioning, we just had to open the window near the entrance and the balcony doors and the air blew through which was lovely. We stayed all inclusive and even though the starters and desserts were repetitive, there was plenty of choice for the main and we were always satisfied. We went for a week to relax and that is just what we did. There is no entertainment at this hotel which was just what we needed and we just got a bottle of wine on a night and sat up on our balcony watching the world go by. We would definitely go back .

Shame about the hotel food and the management response to problems of any kind the holiday rep would have done better working in another profession BUT THE VIEW WAS NICE .....PS the bar OKAPI does wicked cocktails and the restaurant CACTUS did an awesome T BONE steak

Nice clean accommodation with lovely pool, the food was OK with several choices and it's location is excellent, close to restaurants and supermarkets with a short walk to the beautiful sandy beach, the only thing that spoilt it were the few who obviously expected 5 star quality for 3 star price and spent the entire week moaning to anyone who would listen.
