Green Field Aparthotel

I like Gran Canaria for the weather. It was 25 degrees. I have stayed at the hotel before and the same staff were working there. They all liked me. Maria and Niina and Gemma and the restaurant manager all welcomed me back. It was lovely staying there again. I like the swimming pool and the restaurant. Thank you.

though only 3 star beside the benefits of saving money on price you a prime location, all you need; entertainment (music), shops, supermaket and varied restaurants immediately outside and a short stroll to bus stops and beach plus lovely 5 star staff, new matresses all through were too firm for us and they had matress toppers imediately fitted which solved the problem. All the basics needed in place in the rooms.

I went away solo for the first time, I knew the hotel wasn’t anything fancy but it was all inclusive and had what I needed. Their biggest downfall was their “outdoor gym” which didn’t open until 9am when the pool did anyway so no early gym session before it gets too hot, there’s a broken down treadmill, a bike and a cross trainer. There are then 3 x cable machines, mostly focusing on chest/back and one of those was also broken. Now being solo, keeping up with the gym is one thing I wanted to do and wasn’t able to. Other than that though, the staff were all extremely friendly and polite, food I personally thought was decent, a little repetitive but plenty of choice and tasty. The hotel was clean and looked after and the 2 people running the entertainment all day and night, every day were class. They don’t have anything fancy for entertainment but, they try their best and have the best energy and enthusiasm levels. Other than the gym situation, this hotel was great and I really enjoyed my nice peaceful stay.

I found this hotel to be very clean and the rooms were lovely but the rest of the hotel was a bit dated. Jet2 are trying to sell this hotel as a VIBE hotel but there are a lot of families and people over the age of 40 that stayed in the hotel. Listening to youngsters arguing in the corridors at 4 am was not good. Food was to be desired and we ate out most nights

The hotel was not as expected as per the photos with jet2. I booked 2 superior studios, but wouldn't call them superior. The air con didn't work properly in our room, you couldn't go out the sliding door to the pool as it wouldn't lock behind you. The 2nd room booked had a foul fusty smell where my son and girlfriend couldn't hang their clothes in the wardrobe as it stank of urine! Their fridge door wouldn't close properly. We had no complaints about the food or drinks. There was only 1 entertainment staff on using the day and had Tuesday and Wednesdays off. The evening entertainment was poor. Nothing for young children to do other than the pool. Where the hotel was situated was fairly close to the beach and local shops. Maspalomas Town centre not too far to walk to either.

Stayed here two years ago and really had a great time. The food was good and the staff were fabulous. The only down side was the beer which was not the greatest but you tend to get that with All inclusive.

I have been on many a holiday but by far this was the best, on arrival the staff at reception were superb, Donata wasted no time in booking me in and advised me i could make the restaurant if i was quick, the room was large, clean and pleasant (i never understand why people moan about petty things like a bit of dust or a cracked tile wow!!! its a bed for the night bloody whingers) okay shower sprayed out a bit but hey ho there were plenty of towels to lay on the floor. At breakfast i was greeted by the pleasant Noelita and at every meal after she would always have time for a brief chat and wished me well. The resort itself is fantastic and the locals very respectful, on the last day my flight was an evening one but again the staff bent over backwards for me, i could store my luggage, get a late meal and i even had a room where i could shower before i left. All in all 10 out of 10, i was there in July last year this year its June and i have even booked for December, it felt like a home from home and my thanks go out to all the Staff who were always available.

We were a family of 4. 3 adults and one child. We arrived late and was supplied with a snack. Fruit water and ham & cheese sandwiches. None of us ate pork and one of us could not eat cheese as they were lactose intolerant. They advised us they could not change the sandwiches. Rooms: The rooms were adequate but the air conditioner did not work, consequently my family did not get a single good night sleep during our stay. I reported the air conditoner not working to Jet2 Holidays rep and they in turn spoke to the hotel. The hotel claimed they fixed it, but the air con never worked during our 7 night stay. Restaurant: The restaurant was really small. There was no air conditioner in the restaurant. During breakfast, lunch and evening meal, you would sweat profusely. Breakfast was basic, but ok. Pork was used a lot in their meals even if it said vegetarian. The oranges were lovely and sweet. Sometimes, oranges were served whole, but make sure you check them, as I found a few mouldy ones. I was surprised the hotel did not do fresh orange juice. I was surprised to see so many chipped plates and a lot of dirty dishes. There was not a variey of choices of food. Anyone who was lactose intolerant, gluten free or wheat free would have struggled. Pool side: Quite a lot of sunbeds but limited umbrellas. Safe: you have to pay for the safe 2 euros per day. This was a surpise considering the safe was for free when we went to Madeira. One female receptionist was not helpful, she even directed us to a guy who was toting for business. He even came looking at the pool side to try to encourage us to buy a trip on a boat.(very annoying) WiFi was ok, worked better outside the front of the room and great by the poolside. Entertainment was really good. All inclusive was from morning to 11 at night then you had to pay for your drinks. This was the first time I have experienced a limited time on an all inclusive deal. Snacks was just sausage, burger, cheese or ham pizza, chips and salad everyday. Overall, I will not reccommed this hotel.

Great place to stay, i was here room 521 fully air conditioned from 2nd to12th May 2019 nice clean room food was great & the staff very helpful & friendly great Location 10 min walk to beach flat walk to yumbo 10mins.

Just returned from a week’s stay in studio apartment. Comfortable stay. Clean room. Good facilities and great location with plenty of bars,restaurants, farmacies and supermarkets around hotel. Bus stop close to hotel for trips to various other places such as Puerto de Mogan and Las Palmas. Bus services frequent and cheap. Beach a short walk away. We stayed B & B . Plenty of choice - eggs,bacon,sausage,cereals fruit etc. Very good variety. Hotel staff were very friendly. We had a problem with our safe in room - our fault -we left the door ajar so it locked us out. Reported to Reception and resolved in 5 minutes. Great power shower. Plenty of shower gel,shampoo and soap provided. Lots of wardrobe space and although no Drawers,plenty of shelving. Large balcony with rack to hang washing and table and chairs.

We spent a most enjoyable 7 day break at the Green Field Apart Hotel. As an individual I rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to do so in this instance. Prior to our arrival I was concerned at some of the mixed reviews received by the Green Field Aparthotel, but I can, without fear of contradiction, confirm that the quality and choice of food available was of a very high standard. Soup, salads, hot platters, cold platters, sweets, the choice was extensive, very well prepared, nicely presented and constantly replenished. The rooms were very clean, towels were changed every day - apart from Sunday - and the beds changed regularly as well. The pool area was clean, well maintained and well laid out and to top it all the weather was tremendous. The staff were also helpful, friendly and considerate, and the evening entertainment varied. The beach is within a 5 minute, easy walking distance also. Take it from me if you are planning a stay at the Green Field you can rest safe in the knowledge you will have a great time. We will certainly come back.

basic accomodation. Stayed 11 nights, was unable to go into the pool the whole of the holiday as the pool was freezing cold and was not heated/ or the hote did not heat the pool. I did try to get into the pool on a number of days, but was unable to do so as it was painful- to the point of i could not feel my feet when accessing how cold/warm the pool was, whilst sitting on the side. We stayed all inclusive, not much choice with the meals in the resteraunt, the meals were always warm, never hot. We had to eat out most of the time. Alcohol was free if all inclusive from 11:00 - 23:00, the staff would not serve all inclusive guests with a pint glass, only half pint glasses were served to all inclusive guests, however pints were served to paying guests. This is not a family friebdly hotel and there is no play are for any children. Enertainment was aweful. I paid a total fo £1638.00 for two people for this holiday. We spent an addidtional £600 on food and drink outside of the hotel. I would never stay in this hotel again, and i think the star rating should be dropped from a 3 to a 2 if not even lower..

Hotel is a good base ideally located. Clean and friendly staff. Great weatherHowever we had issues with maid service and having to hire a fan for the week as aircon needed a new motor and not sorted during our visit . However they did replace faulty shower head very quickly. A must see evening out is the show at the Music Hall Tavern
