Text
Boasting a golden sandy beach, twinkling turquoise water and pretty tree-lined promenades, it’s no surprise that Santa Ponsa has been a popular spot since the 1950s. It’s a vibrant resort with plenty going on and there are heaps of activities, restaurants and seafront souvenir shops to get stuck into. The sunsets here are pretty impressive too!

Beach duo

Santa Ponsa’s main Blue Flag beach is a stunner. Its silky sands are separated from the nearby pine woods by a promenade, where you’ll find sun beds, parasols, jet skis and pedalos. The low-key Little Beach by the marina is popular with families and has a playground opposite for little ones.

Super-yacht spotting

Port Adriano, a newly-built deep-water harbour right next to Santa Ponsa, has really started to attract the gleaming, pearlescent white super-yachts of the rich and famous on their Majorca holiday. Now’s the time to pay this marina hangout a visit for a touch of glamour and a taste of the high life.

Perfect Palma

The island’s cosmopolitan capital’s well worth exploring. Check out La Seu, Palma’s imposing Gothic cathedral, wander narrow cobbled streets and visit the hilltop castle for stunning views of the harbour. If shopping is more your bag on your Balearic holiday, head to the famous tree-lined Passeig des Born and its surrounding streets for designer delights.
