Bumper crop of beaches

There’s not one, not two, but five beaches to choose from in Costa Teguise. Palm-lined Playa Bastian’s a popular plot, while the soft sands of Playa de las Cucharas makes it a slice of paradise. Looking for a quiet spot? Playa del Jablillo’s the place to go.

Dining in the square

The town square is a real hub at night. You’ll find a choice of laid-back restaurants serving home favourites and Lanzarote specialties'. Choose a seat outside for the best view of the bandstand that’s right in the middle of the square – pitch up for live sets most nights of the week.

Modern art v waterparks

The former house and studio of César Manrique, the island’s most famous artist, is a 20-minute drive away. It’s a real vision, with rooms built into underground volcanic bubbles and a public art gallery hanging original Picassos. Flip this on its head at Costa Teguise Waterpark for thrilling flumes and slides.
