Tias

Tias holidays

Lanzarote’s second-largest town, Tias sits pretty in the south of the island. This tranquil resort is tucked away from the tourist throngs, but close enough to its bigger neighbours, giving you the best of both worlds. So, come and mingle with the locals and get a flavour for island life.

In town

In among the stunning Canarian architecture, there’s the town’s centrepiece: the church of Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria. With its double bell tower, it’s an incredible building. Once you’ve enjoyed a spot of retail therapy too, sit down to tasty tapas, Canarian culinary delights and local wine.

Near, far, wherever the attractions are

By day, let the trekking routes in the surrounding areas give you a good old workout. Wind down a little later – the resort’s Municipal Theatre showcases some excellent jazz concerts! Good news: you won’t be far from Puerto del Carmen, where you can expect atmospheric nights out and great seafront scenery.
