From beach to mountains

The town starts at the beautiful crescent-shaped pebble beach, backed by tall pine trees. From there, it’s a short walk to the main square, lined by the 18th century Church of St Mark and the old homes of wealthy merchants. You’ll spot the towering Biokovo Mountain just outside town as well.

A shopper’s haven

Stock up on the essentials at supermarkets dotted about town, and get fresh fruit and veg at the daily market near the main square – it’s just behind the Church of St. Mark. Head to the town’s small shopping centre if you’re after clothes, gadgets or cosmetics – there’s a chemist here, too.
