If you’re after a taste of traditional Greek culture, in food, scenery and shopping, this is the place. Spend a few lazy days sampling the local wine and enjoying some traditional fare in a family-run taverna, perusing the local markets, or even just get out and about in the verdant hillsides.
Take a wander
There’s a treasure trove of terrific sighs to discover. Head to the top of the town’s imposing castle for unbeatable views and then some. Or take a trip to the nearby Monastery of St Gerasimos, followed by Robola Winery for a taste of the local vino.
