Didim is a popular seaside resort town and district on the Aegean coast of western Turkey, located in Aydın Province. It is famous for its long sandy beaches, sunny climate, ancient historical sites, and a large, well-established community of British and European expatriates.
The best time to visit Didim is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is warm but not overly hot, and tourist crowds are smaller. The summer months (July and August) can be quite busy, as many tourists flock to the area for its beaches.
In Didim, you can enjoy a variety of activities such as sunbathing on beautiful beaches, swimming in the Aegean Sea, and exploring historical sites like the Temple of Apollo. Water sports, boat trips, and local markets are also popular activities. Additionally, you can savour traditional Turkish cuisine at local restaurants.
Didim boasts several beautiful beaches, including Altinkum Beach, which is known for its golden sands and crystal-clear waters. There are also quieter beaches, like Yesilkent Beach, ideal for those looking for a more relaxing atmosphere.
The nightlife is concentrated in the Altınkum area. It ranges from relaxed beachfront bars where you can enjoy a sunset cocktail to lively music bars and a few small nightclubs that stay open late. It offers a good variety but is generally considered more laidback than the intense clubbing scenes of Bodrum or Marmaris.
We don’t have any villas in this resort right now. But we’ve hundreds available in other destinations, so find your perfect one now.
