Explore the shops

The small plaza near the seafront has a small selection of gift shops that sell souvenirs, such as hand-made pottery, and a supermarket for day-to-day necessities. For designer label shopping it’s best to head into the nearby Sant Lluís or Mahón, where you’ll pick up essentials and a few treats.

See the sights

While there isn't a great deal of activity in S’Algar itself, the rest of Menorca is easily accessible by car. Take a 20-minute drive to the capital, Mahón, and you can see its stunning 19th century fortress, the ancient remains of a prehistoric town and the shimmering waters of Port Mahón.
