Theo Sunset Bay Hotel

Travelled with Jet2 Holidays and yet again we couldn’t fault them. Hotel was just ok and luckily we were only here for a week. We were booked half board and on arrival we were handed a ham & cheese sandwich, no drink from a box. We booked a family suite but kids thought their beds were uncomfortable as they were a sofa split. Rooms were clean and looked as if recently painted, bit dated. Kept having to go to reception to ask for towels or hand towels left instead of bath towels. I guess we were last on cleaning list. Food was fine as I’m a plain eater so always found food to eat. Not sure how two week stay would work. Pool area was probably the best, none of having to get up at silly o’clock to beat the English at their own game! Towels are every two/ three days but if you send a different family member you can get round this! Location was in the middle between Paphos and Coral Bay. You are a bit out but there is a regular bus 615 if you want. Hired a car to get about from Camel who were spot on via the hotel. Staff were the plus point as they were really friendly especially in the Restaurant. Ordering drinks was a bit slow but I think most are on AI and they might think you are on that which is self service. This is our sixth time in Cyprus and second to Paphos. I do prefer Potaras though over Paphos as the beaches & restaurants are better. If you are coming for a week, get a deal and just staying in the hotel then it’s fine.

Stayed a week in May with a friend had a lovely holiday the hotel is great and rooms spotless, the staff are lovely and breakfast was good with plenty of choice. I cannot find a bad thing to say because there isnt any, the view from the pool is lovely and there is a bus outside hotel every ten minutes that will take you to pathos in 15 mins and coral Bay is 10 mins away.

The hotel is beautiful in a fabulous setting and the staff are amazing. A few upgrades are needed especially around the lower pool area also to the front facia . If you are looking for a base in paphos I could not recommend too highly but do not expect entertainment or a varied dining experience, whilst the food is okay it is not great .

We spent a fantastic two weeks, using the pools indoor and outdoor all beautifully clean. All meals we had at the hotel were out of this world. The apartment was basic but very clean and comfortable. All members of staff we met were always courteous and helpful we would very much recommend this hotel to anyone x

Great hotel .good location .good rooms .lovely breakfast .and very good friendly staff .full marks to all at the hotel .will have no problem recomending to friends and family. Would stay at the hotel again .

On first glance I thought ok not too bad. However my opinion changed rapidly. The hand rails going up stairs were dangerously loose. There were tiles on the stairs which were not cemented in position. The chairs in the bar area were old and the plastic so brittle that they broke whilst sitting on them. The staff were, on the whole, lovely but were managed by an obnoxious man who barked orders and whom the staff were noticeably afraid of. I would give this hotel a 2 star rating at best!

Great sunset views from the hotel but some of the rooms are in need of refurbishment. Our door didn't really shut properly and there was a lot of noise from the main road which didn't help with sleeping. We arrived late on the Friday night and the hotel was overbooked so had to be put in another 3 star hotel down the road for one night. The manager was very apologetic and offered us a free upgrade from B &B to half board, plus late check out on the last day. We weren't that impressed with the food in the evening so only dined there half the time, we prefer visiting other local restaurants anyway. And on the last day they seemed to have forgotten about the promise of a late check out! Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our time at the hotel, and in Paphos and the surrounding areas. This hotel just isn't as good as it could be unfortunately and needs some improvement.

Resort was lovely swimming pools and facilities were amazing the staff were very freindly and helpful. food was delicious and so much choice .only let down was the building work they were doing in tbe appartment next door. At 7.30 in the morning for the last 3 days of our stay.

Loved this hotel. Room in new block with sea view was great, spotlessly, cleaned daily with fresh towels. Hotel areas all spotless and well maintained. Plenty sunbeds , couple could do with a little maintenance. Pools lovely. We were B&B excellent choice of food and only €10 if you felt like lunch in restaurant. Bar was great and good value. Recommend the pizzas. Enjoyed few Spa treatments could be advertised more in hotel tho. Mini market well stocked too. Staff in hotel were all great so friendly. Bus stop outside taking you to Coral Bay and Paphos harbour every 15 mins or so. Fab holiday and would go back

After arriving just before midnight we was then offered a free drink and sandwich excellent.Then the night person in charge of the desk was like something out of faulty towers. I travelled with my brother and ordered at twin room, we was then lead to a double room and i had to sleep on a sofa with no covers or pillows until morning as Manuel could not help. Next morning rep got us moved and we was Happy with a complementary massage for us for our inconvenience well done Jet2 rep. The Hotel was excellent with a excellent varied menu at every sitting.The rest of the stay went with no dramas until we was leaving, we paid extra to keep our room on till late as we had a late flight but as we paid they asked us for our wristbands back and our all inclusive was taken away from us. Bear in mind we did.nt arrive till late on our 1st day so feel they could have extended it as we paid extra for our room to be kept longer.. overall good place just the few thing as explained..

Lovely Hotel, very clean, beautiful pool and view, really reccomend, staff worked very hard, very polite and efficient, we only went Bed and Breakfast but was plenty of choice, paid for a meal in Restaurant and was very nice, Iwould go definitely go back 😊😊
