The pretty, clean beach of Porto Cristo is an excellent viewpoint for soft sand and clear waves. Many secluded coves are dotted about the strip of shoreline, making the perfect seaside spot. Small fishing boats line the neighbouring harbour – make sure you have a stroll here during your Majorca holiday.
Enjoy exploring the fascinating caves. Drach is a system of four incredible smaller caves, while Coves dels Hams is a network of colourful stalactites and stalagmites. There’s an aquarium near the Caves of Drach, so you can get up close and personal with Barrier Reef fish and other magnificent underwater creatures.
The tranquil location offers an array of chilled-out bars and eateries for the evening, rather than a full-on buzzing club scene that strays well into the small hours. But if you are looking to dance the night away, grab a taxi to nearby Cala Millor for beyond-midnight entertainment.
Porto Cristo, Majorca
Wander among stalagmites and stalactites when you explore the dragon caves, just outside town. Tours end with a light show and classical music concert on one of the biggest underground lakes in the world. To enjoy the caves without some of the crowds, get on the first or last tour of the day.
Porto Cristo, Majorca
In a sheltered bay with a harbour at one end, Port Cristo's beach is a beautiful spot. Kids will love playing on the fine golden sand and paddling in the shallow water, while you relax on a sunlounger. There are pedalos to take out, and you can get a snack at one of the cafés and restaurants nearby.
Porto Cristo, Majorca
The coastline and caves near Porto Cristo are perfect for a spot of scuba diving, snorkelling or kayaking. You can give the water sports a try at the Skualo Adventure Sport School just in front of the marina. Its classes range from beginners to PADI open water scuba instructor courses.
