Around 4km north of Port d'Addaia is Arenal d'en Castell, where it’s gorgeous golden sands and seaside charm aplenty. There’s also a fenced playground area and pool in neighbouring Coves Noves – great for anyone who likes to keep up their fitness regime while they’re away.
Menorca’s capital city, Mahón, is around 20km south of Port d'Addaia and it’s a hub of activity. History buffs, you’re in luck, with elegant architecture and pastel-painted buildings sweeping their way across the old town, while the postcard-perfect port is a dreamy place for a scenic stroll.
Menorca
Take a tour of Bodegas Binifadet to find out how wine is made. The wineries here can be visited all year round and the tours give a comprehensive history of Binifadet wine and show you how it's produced and stored. There's even a restaurant attached that's open every day.
Menorca
See that expanse of turquoise glinting in the sun? Yep, follow that for beachfront beauty. The resort of Cala Canutells is all about its crowning glory – the seafront. So, whether you just want to lounge on the sand or you fancy a paddle, you’ll be in your element here in no time.
Menorca
Postcards may be a little bit passé, but if you've ever seen one of Menorca it will undoubtedly be of the virgin beaches at Macarelleta. The shallow waters give the bays a tropical turquoise hue making it a stunning place to swim and sunbathe. In high season, it's best accessed by bus.
