Kolymbia enjoys an aspect of eastern Rhodes that combines beautiful forestry and a stunning slice of shoreline. The lush greenery is largely thanks to the local Seven Springs, a staggering natural attraction of burbling rivers, lakes and waterfalls. It really is a place for holiday snaps and taking a walk.
Kolymbia has another claim to fame in the beauty of its three beaches. The main spot enjoys a wonderful skyline, with the jutting shapes of the mountains in the distance. The sand’s supremely soft too and leads down to loose shingle in the shimmering seafront area itself.

The main beach at Kolymbia is a stunning, sandy stretch with Blue Flag status. Relax on a sunbed and enjoy the views of Tsambika Mountain or speed through the sea on a jet ski. The water here is shallow and clear, making it a top spot for scuba diving too. There are also a couple of smaller coves to discover nearby.

From way up on Tsambika Mountain the beach below may look tiny, but this stretch of golden sand is really one of the biggest and best on the island. It offers facilities such as sunbeds, umbrellas and water sports, as well as gorgeous clear waters and scenic views.

As well as its long, sandy main beach, Kolymbia is home to a small and secluded harbour. Almost enclosed by a circle of volcanic rock, the harbour beach is made up of sand and shingle and is close to a handful of traditional tavernas. There are amenities such as sunbeds and umbrellas to use too.
