Take yourself back to the 12th century and learn the legends of this humble little town! Nicknamed the Town of Pirates, Omis was once ruled by a group of fearsome fellows, filling their foes with fear! Battling against the neighbouring towns and passing ships, it wasn’t until 1444 that the Omis seadogs lost their reign! Today, you’re unlikely to spot a pirate, but you can go on a rafting tour on the Cetina River!
Dotted with a carpet of coral-coloured rooftops and crowned by towering rugged cliffs, Omis really is unmissable. Whether you’re strolling the ancient old town, having a bite to eat in one of the restaurants, or admiring the view across the twinkling Adriatic, your peepers are in for a treat.

Bosona is one of a number of small beaches linked together along the coast at Biograd. It's a stone beach with easy access to the beautiful clear waters of the sea, and boasts a volleyball court and playing field, making it perfect for those who like to play sport on the beach.

Built in the mid-18th century, this huge parish church has a statue of its patron saint Anastasia at the top of the exterior, while inside, there are five altars and a number of tombstones to explore, some of which bear inscriptions. Look out for the gilded wooden altar from the 18th century.
