There’s a whole lot of history bubbling up here. Old castle wall remnants still exist, while various churches dot the town. But there’s one in particular – San Pietro di Antiochia – that really stands out from the crowd, with incredible architecture harking back to the 15th century, plus magnificent monuments and paintings.
Calvagese della Riviera comes with unassuming, unpretentious looks but retains a traditional Italian flair and a relatively go-slow vibe. Across the dazzling, vibrant green landscape, you’ll find nearby farms and wineries with grapes growing some the most incredible vines. This is typical Veronese territory at its finest.
