Not sure how this is a 5 star hotel as rather average and in a run down area. Great breakfast though with amazing views from the rooftop bar / restaurant. Our room looked over a backstreet apartment looking at locals doing their washing. Overall service was ok but bar and restaurant prices expensive. Walk a few streets away and it was quite colourful later at night with scores of homeless people and drug dealers in the streets along with the brothels. To be fair I enjoyed my short stay there and a good base and easy to travel around the city.
I was a little aprehensive before arrival as I kept reading bad reviews for this hotel. However, they are wildly exaggerated: the hotel is really good! The location is probably mixed: really close to transport and to the main sites but the area surrounding the hotel can be a little scary after dark. Inside, reception is sort of tucked into a corner and vast areas of the lobby seem to be not used (although anyone can go and sit in them). Our room was a little on the small size - we booked for 3 people, 2 adults and a 13-year old and while it did have an extra bed, the placement meant that it blocked the opening for the closet. It wasn't great but we managed to put up with this for a whole week and otherwise, the room was really good. The rooftop bar and pool are the best part and definitely recommend those. Service was also excellent and while there were a few maintenance issues evident these were small and not affected our trip.

The basic flight fare (including all taxes and non-optional charges), one piece of check-in baggage, accommodation and coach transfers if stated form the ‘FREE’ element of the price. All other ancillary charges on the flight or during the holiday, such as extra legroom and in-flight meals, room upgrades, and optional meal arrangements, and for villas, pool heating, shall be chargeable. Please note, transfers are not included within a Jet2CityBreaks booking.
One Free Child Place is available when there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price. There can only be one Free Child Place per room, or per villa, on the booking. With the exception of villa products, multiple Free Child Places can be booked as long as there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price per child place, each Free Child Place is assigned into a different room and there is availability of Free Child Places. Where a party consists of one adult and two children, one child will be charged the full price applicable to their age and the other child will receive the Free Child Place.
The child age where a Free Child Place would be applicable is displayed on the accommodation description page of the brochure and on our website. The child age on the date of return must not exceed the specified age to be applicable to a Free Child Place.
The full deposit must be paid for the Free Child Place and the deposit will be deducted from the final holiday invoice. This will be displayed at time of booking. If you cancel your holiday there will be a £60 charge payable in respect of the child, in addition to any charges set out in clause 5 of our terms and conditions.
Free Child Places cannot be combined with any other promotions or offers, unless otherwise stated.
