Kairaba Sandy Villas

Fabulous hotel for those looking for quiet and chilled holiday. Great staff and food. We stayed in a swim up room and it was amazing. Just watch out for the mosquitos. I ended up with 7 bites and three trips to the doctor in the sister hotel.

A great resort, spotless and really helpful staff. Pros: Plenty of room around the pool and umbrellas good size rooms with a nice balcony Wonderful food - good variety and lunch & dinner menus were not repeated over the 11 days Ice cream available by the pool - banana was yum (no charge) Drinks were fine, especially the tequila sunrise cocktail and the brandy. The hairdryer was one of the best I've found in a hotel They added a dispenser of moisturiser toward the end of the holiday which was lovely. Cons: Air con in the room did not appear to work - we got the sun in the afternoon and it was 24C most days. Leaving the balcony door opened helped at night. To get to the beach you have a 12 minute walk through the Labranda resort - which is rather noisy. And the beach is back to back sunbeds. There was a section just for adults only - not strictly adhered to though. I only went once as the sea was too rough for a swim or even a paddle. The resort is isolated, the nearby village seemed run down - but maybe it was too near the start of the holiday season. There is one tourist bus to Corfu Town daily, a bit of a scrum on the return journey but worth a visit. The bathrobes are fine if you are small, a bit on the short side. Overall a lovely resort if you want a good laid back pool holiday. There was some evening entertainment at the weekend. The staff were great - a dog had found it's way into the resort. Quite cute and well behaved but not really appropriate. The management asked all the local residents and when the owner couldn't be found the dog was found a new home (in Germany!). There are 3 cats - but they are well behaved and don't go into the dining room or anything. We did ask if we could keep our room till 6:0pm but that wasn't possible. I was very disappointed as it meant it would have been messy to have a last day in the sun. They said a room would be available for half an hour to change - but we didn't use that. After we were told we received a plate of sandwiches and a bottle of sparkling wine in our room. Sad to say the food was wasted as we had eaten already (I did try to refuse it but it was left anyway) - the wine was a nice touch though.

This adult only hotel is everything you can ask for, from the moment we arrived to leaving by taxi we were made to feel so welcome. My wife has MS and the hotel is totally accessible to all areas. All the staff were fantastic and very friendly and always happy to help. The reception layout is beautiful, the service and choice of food in the restaurant was outstanding. The rooms are very spaceous and well decorated and having a swim-up pool was great for lazy days. Once available to book for next May we will be on our way back. Many thanks to all the staff for a great holiday.

We were upgraded for the final 3 days of our holiday to the KAIRABA Sandy beach villas. The villas was immaculately clean and luxurious with it's own private pool. The restaurant, reception, bars and pools were spotlessly clean and beautiful and the staff couldn't do enough for us. What a lovely holiday that we'll remember for a long time.

This hotel is most definitely up there with one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We had a superior swim up suit and what a luxury that was. The hotel was clean, the staff more than attentive to all of our needs. The food was amazing, something different was on the menu every lunch and dinner time and the food was just delicious. And the pastries were to die for!! The only criticism I would say is the lack of night time entertainment, they have entertainment three times a week, a brass band, Latino dancers and a singer who was pretty good!

We arrived at 2am due to a delayed flight and the hotel night staff were still helpful, chatty and had arranged for a meal to be ready for our arrival. We were then taken to our accommodation by a buggy and shown the accommodation.Staff were the best I have experienced nothing too much trouble could not recommend them highely enough.Venue great adults only - lovely and quiet. Beach was a ten minute walk through the other complex were the children were running riot but this was fine as they could not come into the complex of adults only.Would certainly revisit

Just returned home from this lovely hotel in the relatively undeveloped area of St George South in southwest Corfu. The public areas are exquisite. We had booked a swim up room and were upgraded to a suite on arrival. It was very nice with two bathrooms, a lounge, a bedroom and two televisions! Loved walking from the terrace straight into the pool - heaven for a sunworshipper like me. The food was varied and really good but as a change, meals could be taken in the adjoining Sandy Beach hotel. We didn’t eat there but on several occasions, we walked into the village to eat at the traditional Greek tavernas. Loved Sandy Villas - every member of staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.
