Ponti-Vasiliki Beach brings together the perfect elements for the sport and there are clubs and windsurf hire shops all the way along the coastline, too. Away from the water sports, there are other tranquil beaches nearby, so you still have the option to take it easy.

It’s the ideal conditions at Ponti-Vasiliki Beach that have made this resort such a haven for windsurfers. The beach shelves so gently that the water is still shallow as far as 50m from the shore. There’s a regular wind here throughout the summer, nicknamed ‘Eric’, which gets progressively stronger throughout the day. Yet the headlands protect the waters from choppy waves.
Good news foodies - there are plenty of bars and restaurants in Vasiliki. As some of the bars are set up for young windsurfers, they can get pretty lively at night, especially by the usually quieter standards of Lefkas. Enjoy a harbourside table right by the water’s edge for the most serene sea views.
Vasiliki, Lefkas
One of the most scenic coastlines on all of Lefkas, Agiofili Beach has a bright-white pebbly shore enclosed by dramatic, towering cliffs on all sides. Many people come here to relax and take in the stunning surroundings, but the crystal-clear waters and abundance of fish make it a popular beach for snorkelling, too. You'll also find sunloungers and somewhere to buy snacks too
Vasiliki, Lefkas
The number one choice for windsurfers on Lefkas, this pebble beach on the south of the island catches plenty of wind during the summer. While there’s a lot of wind, the headland of the bay protects it from strong waves, too. There’s also a windsurfing club here with windsurf hire available.
