Hotel Maya Alicante

This was our first stay at hotel Maya. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit and consider that it’s classifications as a three star should be changed to 4 given the quality of food and accommodation. It is a short distance out of town 10 minutes walk,and so away from noisy streets at night.

Faultless! Contemporary and stylish. Approx 20 mins easy walk to old town and cathedral. Palma is a great city to visit. Upgraded to a marina view room which had gorgeous view. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Will be back!

We spent a week at Maya hotel, end of July. Even if it’s a 3 stars hotel the service and overall care is about 4 stars. Kindle and professional attitude, good quality food, reasonable prices, every day room cleaning. The air conditioning was very quiet but maintained good cool temperature, Nice view on the castle.

The Hotel is in a good location, the twin room was comfortable , room service cleaned the room every day, the pool and surround was clean and tidy and well maintained , the buffet breakfast was good with a wide range of foods and importantly the staff were pleasant and helpful. The only downside was the poor sound transmission between rooms.

Perfect hotel with very clean rooms and friendly stuff on hand. The food was amazing with a great selection of food choices. The hotel is very close to the beach and also transport links. The bus from the airport drops you outside the hotel.

Staff great very helpful . Pool area great . gym ok could do with a tidying up . Only a few umbrellas on sun deck so ended up going to beach 4days of the holiday so I feel every bed should have a umbrella for shade . Food was great and friendly staff . Look forward to next visit .

This hotel is in a fab location, about a 7 minute walk from a big mall and a 7 minute walk to the beach and the town. The beach is stunning, €18 for two sunbeds with an umbrella which was worth it for the heat! Town centre was full of nice souvenir shops and a market. There was many gorgeous restaurants on the beach front I highly recommend (CIAO MIAMI and the Steakhouse in particular!) The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing - the room was spacious and immaculately clean. A gorgeous bathroom and balcony which lucky for us looked out to the Santa Barbara Castle (which is well worth the climb!). The pool was a good size, quiet, plenty of sun beds and other seating as you can eat there as well by the pool. The staff were pleasant and helpful. My only downside to the hotel would be the food, had breakfast once there and declined lunch for the range of foods not being to my Rasta (and the breakfast letting me down) and the dinner I would always have done what we did with eating out every night! Plus the walls were very thin, and one night someone's drunken antics kept me up! I really recommend this hotel and would go back again. Would say this destination is perfect for those who want a relaxing holiday on the beach!
