Fabulous hotel in the best location for visiting all of the fabulous places in Malaga - good size rooms with side view of the sea and full view of the castle - food wonderful - staff excellent - would definitely return
An excellent value-for-money hotel situated close to all that Malaga has to offer. Easy to find, very comfortable, clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast selection. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel
We stopped here as a couple in June for a week and would recommend this hotel for a few reasons. Firstly there is the location of the hotel, well placed on the edge of the port and a nice promenade walk of approx 15 minutes to the main town shopping area.There were lots of little shops and supermarkets around the Hotel and the beach is very close and by turning left out of the Hotel it was literally 5 minutes walk down the road. Sunbeds and umbrella were already laid out and cost 5 euros for the day. We had a corner room on the 6th floor and overlooked the Bullring and Castle at the rear and the port at the front. We were booked in for Half Board and ate in the Hotel every morning and night. The Breakfast was buffet style and with all the expected usual food from a cooked breakfast to cheeses, bread and chiros. The evening meals were a-la-cart and very different to what we had expected being a Spanish menu. You had a choice of 3 meals for each course, starter, mains and sweet and some of the combinations were a little different to what we were used to e.g. fillet steak accompanied by crisscross crisps! Saying that it was all part of the enjoyment and we enjoyed the variety and taste of most of what was presented to us. If there is one thing that let the Hotel down it was the fact that it did not have a pool, however it did have a roof top sauna, gym and outside area with half a dozen sunbeds which we took advantage in the late afternoons after returning from days at the beach or days shopping. The room itself was air conditioned, had a safe and a fridge and water was supplied daily. The room was cleaned daily and all the staff were very friendly and amenable. All in all this was a very nice stay and somewhere I would defiantly stay again if returning to Malaga.
Great hotel location couldn't be better. Staff very attentive and friendly. Our room was a good size with balcony. Rooms cleaned daily . Breakfast good and nice dinning area. Added bonus of roof sun loungers and hot tub. Wonderful views of Malaga.

Lovely hotel in excellent location, near beach, marina and short walk to main shopping centre. We booked room only but had a lovely breakfast in cafe a just outside. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend to friends and family as a lovely place to stay. We were very lucky with the weather too and got to spend an afternoon on the beach even though we went late November
Enjoyed our stay, hotel close to cruise area, bullring & other siteseeing areas. Nice comfortable room, breakfast very good. Biggest problem, on arrival we find our room unavailable until 2.00pm. Not good when arriving there at 12.00pm, feeling tired after a long journey from GB.
Perfect location for beach marina and pleasant walk to town. Hotel staff were friendly from reception staff who had one room early despite our early arrival to bar and restaurant staff. We made good use of rooftop terrace as temperature was high and it had a nice breeze. Also a view of the bull ring which I opted out of viewing on fight night. Though my sister and husband went to view!!

We have stayed in another hotel in Malaga and know that most city hotels are fairly impersonal. The helpfulness of the staff at the Maestranza was superb. They were sensitive to our requirements and took great care of us, from the Waiters and Waitresses to the Reception and Porters. We will certainly return.Location was great for us as we would choose to be on that side of the city.
A comfortable hotel quite friendly staff, could benefit from decor upgrade and more professional staff the outdoor swimming pool was freezing, the bar lost business with the lack of dedicated bar staff.
Just a 4 day Malaga visit, the hotel very well positioned for exploring the city. Okay it doesn't look very classy from the outside but you don't see that from the inside. Breakfast had plenty of choices and good staff all very pleasant. We had dinner on one night, it was a little expensive and could have been better. The only down side for us was the beds were a little hard and not made up properly which meant we had to do it ourselves before we could retire each evening.
Great hotel, excellent location, MS Maestranza, Malaga city Pictures of hotel rooms and views where exactly what The web site and brochure said and showed. We shall definitely be using this hotel again.

One Free Child Place is available when there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price. There can only be one Free Child Place per room, or per villa, on the booking. With the exception of villa products, multiple Free Child Places can be booked as long as there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price per child place, each Free Child Place is assigned into a different room and there is availability of Free Child Places. Where a party consists of one adult and two children, one child will be charged the full price applicable to their age and the other child will receive the Free Child Place.
