Hotel Artiem Audax

We spent a week at this hotel from 29th July. We had a sea view room on 7th Floor which had a very good view even though it was only a partial sea view. The room was a reasonable size not large but very comfortable and clean. We like the pools and the bar on 6th floor. The only negative was the dining room. The staff were lovely and the food good with a reasonable selection but it felt like a canteen rather than a restaurant . There are two restaurants which are very similar with the exception of a Terrance at one of them . I must admit I prefer to be served than have a buffet very night as we never seem to eat together because with certain foods being cooked to order, either one or the other was waiting .

Stayed at Audax end of July.Stunning location, very good service.Well appointed rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Loved the extras such as Pilates sessions.Pool was beautiful.Be careful of broad walk in resort- very dark at night!

By far the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. This beautiful hotel is set in an equally stunning resort. The views from our room were fantastic even though we had a standard room. The room was very clean and modern with a fabulous bathroom. The beds and pillows were super comfy. We loved both the restaurants. The food and service was very good, even though it was buffet there were lots of staff who were ery helpful. My new husband is a bit picky with food and always found something to eat. (He would've liked pie n mash! 😜) We had a day in the spa which was well worth the 32euros. We would definitely return. A heavenly 2 week stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, the only real issue with the room was trying to keep shower water in the shower tray. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return.

The only downside to this hotel is that the area round the lower outside pool was fouled with seagull droppings. No one seemed to bother to clean the paved areas and many of the sunbeds were too dirty to use

This was the first occasion my wife and I had visited Cala Galdana and we were delighted with our choice of resort and the Artiem Audax Hotel. We stayed for 11 nights in June and the weather {although a little windy at times} was perfect at around 24/26c. The location offered a view across the bay and was convenient for restaurants and resort facilities. This is an adults only hotel and that suited us as we just wanted to chill out. We booked bed and breakfast, preferring to eat out in the evening and we only have a light lunch. The choice of restaurants is a little restricted but we ate at 'Fuente De Trevi' and 'restaurant Cala Mitjan' both on Passeig de Riu {next to one another} and about 7 minutes stroll from the hotel. We were very pleased with both restaurants but particularly 'Fuente De Trevi' where I can thoroughly recommend the steak dishes. The night life in Cala Galdana is sociable and friendly with reasonable quality hotel entertainment, without the rowdy bars that we have encountered in other Spanish resorts. I am pleased to say that Cala Galdana is not for the 'Beer and Chips Brigade' and if your belong to that category you will be better to look elsewhere. We will be returning to Menorca and probably to the Audax, which is a recommendation in itself as we are selective where we spend our hard earned retirement.

Excellent facilities and very friendly, professional staff. Kevin in the Blue cafe bar was very efficient and helpful. The food is excellent with great choice. The location is perfect right beside the beach and a great view in a sea view room.

we thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation and the bed was just great! The food selection was very well presented and was plentiful. The location was in a quiet part of the result and had sports and spa facilities.

Very modern, clean hotel. Rooms are quite basic but the balconies are a good size with the roooms away from the pool. Lovely view of the sea. Pool area quite big . Breakfast was first class and staff very helpful and attentive.

We spent a pleasant 10 days at this Hotel with onky a couple of niggles. Our initial room was on the 2nd floor and although a nice spacious room the veranda was way below ground level overlooking a wall. This was very caustrophobic and we asked for another room. The usual sunbed problems were here with not enough for the size of the hotel. Staff were all very pleasant and yes we would visit again. One final point is that perhaps the high tourist tax coukd be used to clean up the sewers in the area as a very foul smell was there most days.

We stayed here for a week and had a brilliant time. The pool area and bar were fantastic as well as the staff who looked after you. Inside the hotel it was clean and again staff at the restaurants were brilliant.That's the good points and here is the one and only bad point, one afternoon about 20 people in their wet suits,sponsored by the hotel chain, arrived at the pool area and completely disrupted the friendly atmosphere that was there amongst the holiday people, they were ignorant and rude and prevented people going up the steps, NOBODY stepped in to move them. One of them even put an item of clothing on a sunbed that someone was laying on at the time. As I say everything apart from that incident was top class.

Overall a very good hotel the only issue was the pool area lack of sun beds, sun beds and umbrellas are of a very poor quality for a 4☆ hotel life guard non existent you have to change towels with the life guard if you can find him pool not very often cleaned pool area very disappointing for what was a very nice stay
