Ferrer Janeiro Hotel & Spa

I stayed at the Ferrer janeiro with my 6 year old daughter and elderly parents for a week from 7th August. The hotel is quite modern and very clean. The staff were very friendly and the maids did a lovely job on the room daily. Beds very comfortable. The food was of a high standard with lots of choice I particularly enjoyed the one occasion that there was seafood which was plentiful. The pool areas and pool itself is not huge but very clean with two jacuzzi pools either side, one for kids & it suited our needs. There is another Olympic pool for those who prefer. I will say however that the non reserving of sunloungers is not adhered to and not enforced by any of the staff. A German family of 4 adults and several children lay towels on 4 sunloungers in the same spot first thing in the morning on a daily basis and didnt ever return to use them until gone 3pm. Outrageously selfish and the sense of self entitlement I'm amazed they weren't ashamed or embarrassed. It clearly states on the hotel monitors that this practise won't be tolerated but none of the staff addressed it. I was tempted to chuck their towels in the pool on our last day! Only other gripe is the air con really needs updating. On the very hot days of 37+ it wasn't efficient enough. On the whole though beautiful resort. nice and quiet, good for families and couples rather than groups of young folk we would definitely return.

really clean hotel, varied menu with a lot of healthy options to choose from, really good staff especially the bar staff. Entertainment was a bit of a let down, mainly down to it being German based, but didnt mind to much, as we went walking most nights due to the great beach location. Overall a great family holiday.

Due to change with original hotel booked we moved to this hotel and it was a pleasure to stay here. Jet2 came up with this alternative so we could still enjoy our all inclusive holiday as first hotel stopped offering all inclusive even though it was advertised when booked. We enjoyed our relaxing stay with excellent room and facilities offered by this hotel.

Excellent hotel throughout, very clean and good food. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. I would recommend purchasing the top drinks package also, giving you most all brand drinks free. Can picafort a lovely little town with nice walks along the promenade and a nice beach

Hotel was ok. Room clean but very small (especially for 3). Food not great - spaghetti left out to go hard - no reason it couldn't have been replaced - same for other dishes. 25m pool is a great bonus, always enough sunbeds.
