Aminess Grand Azur Hotel Orebic

Lovely hotel with beautiful views of the Adriatic and Korcula island. The hotel itself was clean, and staff on the whole friendly and helpful. Facilities were good. No issues with the room although slightly on the small side. There was no balcony on our room. We did not pick up on this while booking. Rooms with balconies are available at time of booking. The restaurant facilities were good and the buffet meals excellent. We went for 2 weeks and got a little bored with it after 10 or 11 days but we normally find that on a 2 week all inclusive deal anyway. However, the quality of the food was excellent. In terms of the pool, we did never struggled to get a sun lounger although we dud not go in high season. The hotel is set in Orebic which is a fairly quiet little town. The transfer from the airport was 2.5 hours which seemed a long way. The scenery on arrival made it all worthwhile. There is regular ferries (,for just over 2 Euros) to the beautiful old town of Korcula where there are some very quaint shops and a lot of restaurants. Make sure you get the people ferry rather than the car ferry (unless going by car, clearly) as its quite a long (though scenic) walk to Korcula town from the car ferry port as we found out. The people ferry takes you straight to Korcula town. All in all we had an amazing holiday at the Aminess Grand Azure and will withoit doubt be going back again.

Had a lovely time at Grand Azur Hotel. Had very small balcony but upgraded and was very pleased. Some nights they had bus trips in and it became very noisy in the dining room. Lovely walk to village which we did every day. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Was sad that we were so far from anything and no shop to buy things on site hotel was okay but would not rave about it meals basic but something for everyone,reception staff not that good at English other staff all nice

Nice hotel let down by food. Which lacked choice and was cold.Poor selection of vegetables.Long transfer but very scenic. Quiet resort with a selection of restaurants.Excellent ice creams and coffees.

We rate this hotel very highly, especially the staff so our only minor niggles were that the rooms are small and although well decorated and furnished feel more like a city/airport hotel than a beach front one. No kettle or usable fridge.
