Where to go on holiday in December

Costa Del Sol

The British winter will feel like a distant memory when you book a break to the Costa del Sol during December. While the sea may be a little bracing, it’s still warm enough to enjoy the sunshine from the sand. And when it comes to Christmas celebrations, Fuengirola is the place to go for festive concerts and Mijas is truly quaint with its markets and puppet shows. Don’t miss Marbella – here you can finish your Christmas shopping, see the lights in the Old Town and listen to carols in Plaza de la Iglesia.

Gran Canaria
