Your eyes will be bulging when you arrive in glamorous Monaco. Michelin-starred restaurants are scattered about, all showcasing some of the most inventive dishes from along the South of France and beyond. Alongside delicate amuse-bouches and intricately crafted plates, you’ll find plenty of top scenery along this resplendent coastline.
Spread across various exhibitions and galleries, there are some spellbinding collections of art. Learn all about French history in the Napoleon Museum, but there’s a site for learning about all things oceanographic, as well as a museum for avid stamp collectors. Monaco’s a hive of intriguing buildings with so many fantastic features to discover.
Monaco’s only strip of sand, Larvotto Beach, gives you time to enjoy jet-skiing, windsurfing and volleyball, all with a stunning view of the South of France’s sweeping shorefronts. If you fancy venturing out into the brilliant azures of the Mediterranean Sea, take a boat trip from Port Hercules and see what all the fuss is about.
