Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos

We were very impressed by the quality of the staff during our recent holiday at Olympic Lagoon. They are genuinely friendly and always happy to help. It seems nothing is too much trouble for these guys.The facilities were great and the choice of food options was very good too. The pool area is large enough to avoid kids (if that's what you prefer) and there are plenty of activities for kids if you need them. We like that you are allocated sunbeds for the entire stay, which avoids the dreaded towel rush every morning that you seem to get when UK visitors are involved. Personally, we found the evening entertainment a bit cheesy, but it's clear that most people were enjoying it. If you fancy heading into the harbour area, then it's only a 20min stroll away. We'll definitely be back, which is probably the best recommendation I can give :)

Absolutely not a 5 star hotel the hotel is absolutely dated the rooms have a really dirty smell and the room was not cleaned properly Expectations and looking at there pictures vs reality was worlds apart . The food was the same pretty much every morning lunch and dinner and the entertainment for children was the same every single day . I wouldn’t return

What a wonderful two weeks we spent at this resort. My wife and I could not fault anything. We had a delux room overlooking the pools and the sea. Lathe room was lovely it was kept spotless by our cleaning lady. The pools where kept clean attendants where very helpful and polite.the bar staff both at the pool and in the hotel where brilliant they worked so hard to give excellent drinks. Food in all areas of the resort was excellent and the staff are a credit to the company. We did not want to go home, best all inclusive we have ever had. It will stay in our memories for a long while. Thank you so much x

This was our first stay at the Olympic Lagoon Paphos and first impression of the hotel was that it was very nice & we were greeted by friendly staff. We stayed in a Junior Family Suite & found this to be roomy enough for a family of four. The main bed was huge & very comfortable, there was plenty of storage and the bathroom was a decent size with a nice shower. The suite was separated by a partition with the other sleeping area having twin beds; ideal as we have a teen daughter and a teen son. The balcony was a decent size but didn't have a pool/sea view. Dining: The Main restaurant was very big with the first area designated to families of babies/young children & was very busy & noisy (as you would expect). This is fine, however, this arrangement was not suitable for us as our children are mid-to-late teens. We've been there, done that and wanted to sit somewhere quieter. However, this seemed to be an issue as everytime we dined in the restauarant staff tried to seat us in the family area so everytime we politely declined & asked to sit towards the back of the restaurant. in the area designated for adults only. I think the hotel needs to review this policy to include young adults. Every day we endured the same routine, having to explain that we didn't want to sit in the noisy family area. What was frustrating was we could clearly see other young adults of a similar age to our children being led to the 'adult dining' area without enduring an inquisition. This spolied the dining experience but we got used to it. This said, the food is of a very high standard, there's lots of food to choose from (starters, salads, various mains and great puddings!) and the vegetarian options are not too bad either. You would be hard pushed to say you couldn't find anything to eat. There were always dips available but I would ask for more pitta as during our stay it was only available on the odd occasion. Generally guests did adhere to the dress code, which was a relief, although there was the odd guest in damp swimwear, wearing flips flops an the usual revealing bikini on display. I would add that this was during breakfast/lunch. Evenings were usually fine. The Asian restaurant and Captain's Deck served lovely food leaving you extremely full. Drinks are branded and there's plenty to choose from. Sunbeds were usually mostly reserved by 8.30am but you could still find odd ones at 10.30/11am. The hotel did remove towels left before 8am.

Love this place always very welcome and great service throughout. Great shows nothing to much trouble. Only issue we had this year was was a large wedding party being very loud and upsetting other guests. Looking forward to visiting asking for a 4 year.

If you want a relaxing holiday with great service and food then this is the place to go. The evening entertain was fantastic, the best I’ve seen at any resort. The staff work really hard and there are plentiful. I liked that the manager will walk round and chat to people and even serve you. The hotel and dining area were spotless. There isn’t much to spend your money on in the area but if your like me I went for a relaxing sunny holiday.

Best holiday and hotel I’ve ever been to, my family were there for my daughters wedding, most fantastic experience ever, would recommend highly. Food was incredible, service from the staff overall was second to none. Would definitely be going back there.

My wife and I had our second visit to this hotel in March. As before all aspects of the hotel were excellent. It would be unfair to single individual staff members out because each one was so friendly, efficient and just brilliant. There was a wide selection of food and the Italian restaurant and the American diner are recommended. We had a great relaxing time here just as we had last year.

Wow what an amazing hotel everything from front staff to cleaners were wonderful!! Amazing!! The hotel was clean the food was amazing! The night entertainment was brilliant we especially liked Rory he was ever so friendly and an amazing singer! Vanessa in the restaurant was ever so friendly and was sad to see us go!! The area around the hotel was lovely a nice walk into Paphos and also bus routes were quick and easy! The water park was good we would be given wrist bands and then once in we could get food and drink and pay once leaving! Jeep safari with Stevies was amazing!
