Hotel Roma Prague

This hotel was wonderful, the breakfast was great ,the staff throughout the hotel where superb nothing was to much bother , and a special mention for house keeping staff, thanks girls, quality. The location was a ten minutes walk from Charles bridge and a few more minutes into the old town and all the sites a visitor could wish for in Prague, what a lovely city this is. KIETH SIDGWICK.

Hotel Roma Prague excellent hotel ideal location for all sightseeing 5 mins from the Charles bridge and loads of things to do , breakfast was excellent choice for all , cleanliness of hotel was great , all the service was great can’t fault it at all .

The hotel was very clean and spacious in the downstairs foyer, the only issue I had was that I found my room to be quite small. It was a double bed and adequate but no window it had a sky light instead as it was an attic room with slanted roof. Which is apparently where single travellers are placed.

Really enjoyed our stay here in a spacious room facing the courtyard at the back. Hotel was very convenient for sight seeing - across the road from the tram stop and the funicular railway - and not far from Charles Bridge. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. The room was clean and the buffet breakfast was a good start to the day.

Ideal location for transport (trams). Within walking distance to Park & Prague Castle. Near to restaurants. Hotel staff very helpful when booking for trips. Recommend buy transport card for 3 days if stopping that long .

Booked 3 nights with Jet2 from Leeds/Bradford. Hotel Roma excellent. Tram stop outside the hotel. Rooms clean and comfortable with toiletries provided. Efficient aircon. Helpful staff. Rooms cleaned daily. Good breakfast. Reasonable bar prices. Overall good value.

The hotel rooms were very spacious and were equipped with everything that you may need. The hotel was ideally placed on the quieter side of the river. There was a tram stop outside so it was easy to get to any part of town. There were many lovely restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood. We particularly enjoyed U Krizi, Bar Bar and Kamparium.

Hotel Roma was the perfect hotel for us in Prague. It is situated at the foot of the hill to the beautiful Petrin park -a two minute walk from the fernicular to the top. It is on the Castle side of the river but within east walking distance or tram ride to the bridges over to the Old Town. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfasts delicious and plentiful and our room was lovely. We had a third floor room overlooking the courtyard garden so it was quiet but we had a lovely view of the garden looking down and the hilltop and beautiful blue sky looking up. The room was kept spotlessly clean and the beds were so comfortable. My first visit to Prague but I would definitely go again and stay in the same hotel.

We have stayed in the Hotel Roma on several visits to Prague. It's welcoming, comfortable and very easily accessible. The breakfast is a well-stocked buffet and the reception area also hosts a bar with comfortable leather sofas.

Staff pleasant, helpful and polite. Room was clean, although there were a few mould spots in bathroom. Room was basic, but adequate for a short stay. Kettle and tea provided. No coffee or milk available. Room had mini bar and safe - also TV. The hotel heating was on full blast, so for us, oppressive - especially in the lobby and dining room. We could open the window in the room. There are several excellent restaurants just outside, or around the corner that we used for our evening meals. There was a convenience store on the next corner for bits and pieces and also tram tickets. Tram tickets are for time periods starting at 30 mins. Consider the all day city tour on offer. A great way to explore the city on the first day, which then leads to longer visits to favourite places on later days. Meals and Drinks very good value. Avoid eating in tourist trap areas such as the Old Town Square - poor quality and value.
