Majestic Plaza

Beautiful hotel, fantastic location, nice staff,very helpful. Arrived 11.7.22 for 4 nights. (This was a special surprise for my wifes 60th birthday.) Allocated a room late monday night on the 5th floor (502). Was very dissapointed as room was very dated and the view was attrocious, the worst ive had in 40 years of holidaying. The view was a close up (approx 8 to 10 feet away of a roof top ), tiles above our eye line and nothing else ! ) after complaining got another room the next day, this was after requesting a nice roon with a decent view for my wifes special birthday. Only found out upon arrival that the a la carte restaurant and bar were closed. Was told bar only opened on thur,frid,sat,sun night ! We stayed monday to friday so was no use to us. Disdapointed with that as it was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Also was kept awake 3 out of 4 nights by very noisy people above, banging on floor and walls till 2 am ! Will not return to this hotel

We stayed for a week here, it was very, very nice. The room was spotless, the bed excellent. The breakfast buffet was very good - although roasted potatoes for breakfast was a novelty. The staff were excellent, always a friendly smile and greeting. The hotel is close enough to Wenceslas Square to make tourist activies easy but far enough away that you do not get the noise in the evening.

We have just got back from a lovely holiday in Prague, we stayed in a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff, the hotel was very clean with very comfortable room with a great view of Prague castle, we arrived at room to find a nice bottle of wine from management for our anniversary, also a very nice breakfast with a glass of champagne each day. (A nice touch) we would recommend this hotel.

We arrived at 11 am at hotel, and able to check in straight away. Really helps when you got up at 3 am that morning. Room was small but good. One of the Shower pannel missing so water goes everywhere when you showered. Report to front desk the next morning and they moved us to bigger room within an hour. No fuss at all. Great service from every staff.

Nice clean hotel in excellent location. Within walking distance of all major attractiions. Had a delicious meal in hotel restaurant which was very reasonably priced. would recommend hotel to friends & family. Furniture in our room a bit dated, but this did not detract from our enjoyment of the hotel

I had a twin room on the mezzanine floor. It was very quiet considering we weren't far from reception. Clean with comfortable beds and modern bathroom. 100 yards from the main street leading to Wenceslas Square (which isn't a square but a very large shopping street) Good breakfast but the provision of coffee was chaotic to say the least, I've not had to stand in a queue to get a drink for years and I hate it when people are trying to get across a busy restaurant with hot drinks. Very friendly staff, particularly on reception.

Hotel was excellent and in a brilliant spot for visiting Prague Rooms lovely and on the whole the service was good. Breakfast very good. Young girl who served us a the bar called Avet was lovely and very friendly and charming.

Excellent City to visit, lots of sites to see as long as you are able to get around under your own steam. Cheapest City I can remember visiting in terms of food and drink. Cheapest beer around £1-50, most paid was about £2-50 including in the hotel. Hotel was very nice although the rooms were very hot even in February. Air con in room was free but not very effective so ended up sleeping with windows open which meant sleep disturbed at times by noise outside, more so on Friday and Saturday as people left the club in the basement. Even though we were on first floor noise from basement club didn't disturb us as hum of air con was sufficient to cover it. Good location for getting around. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and served from 6:00-11:00 which meant it would be difficult to miss it. Free safe in room. Pleasant hotel with friendly staff made for a nice stay in a lovely City

Good location for Wenceslas square and a 10/15 minute walk to the old square. Breakfast excellent and even provided coffee/tea to take out! Negatives, the reception staff were less than welcoming and there was a problem with the group booking in before us. We originally stayed in the older part of the hotel and heard everything the people each side of us said and what was in their tv when they came in at 1am so we went to reception to complain. We did hear them speak to our "neighbour " and he did apologise. Asked to be moved the next night and were moved to a much larger ( less character) room but no noise from the neighbours! The reception staff who moved us were very helpful, unlike the ones who booked us in so that's the look of the draw. Hotel provided us with transport to the airport for our return.

I was made very welcome in this hotel, I found the staff helpful, buffet breakfast had a good choice. Easy to walk to most of the sites. Bar snacks good ,I Dined out so I can't pass an opinion on the restaurant. The restaurants around the city centre are indifferent go away from the centre to find somewhere decent watch out for things turning up you didn't order bread and butter for example send it back or it will be added to your bill don't presume it's free.

Spent four nights at Majestic. Great location, just five minutes walk from Wenceslas Square, and the delights of the old town beyond.. Good, basic restaurant opposite, and lovely deli/cafe close by. Hotel is clean and well run. Nice bar area was not too expensive and did snacks, while dining room provided wide range of breakfasts from 6 - 11, and meals for the rest of the day (which we did not try). Our roon was on the fourth floor, but was large and well equipped. It was at the back of the hotel and very quiet.

Hotel in very good place not too far from the main square breakfast was served till 11 all the hotel staff where very friendly and helpful in the hotel , girl on the bar worked very hard , room was nice ,bit too hot last week ,cleaners in room every day was lovely to come back to nice clean room after hard day sight seeing.

The hotel is just few minutes from Wenceslas Square and 10-15 minutes to Old Town Square. From airport just take bus 119 outside then take tram to Muztek and walk up for 6-10 minutes. It cost only 32 cz. The taxi was 600cz. The receptionist was helpful when we arrived late. The breakfast was very substantial and they have 2 restaurant to go to. The staff were helpful. On our first night, noise next door could not sleep, rang reception and dealt problem quickly. To see all Prague attractions, we booked all inclusive tour which included 40minutes boat trip and medieval lunch which was a reasonable price. We booked another trip to the Bone Church outside Prague and included meal, as well, a bit higher price not much due to 1 hour travelling by coach. The only issue was the unfinished pavement where my accompanied friend fell. There was no pedestrian footpath. Just be careful.

First visit to Prague. Found Hotel Majestic Plaza a most attractive and comfortable place to say in a quiet street within walking distance of main attractions. The hotel also shows the price for a taxi to some of them,. Fantastic breakfast and stylish restaurant if wish to dine at the hotel.

This was our second visit to the hotel and we will return. Very helpful reception staff, lovely big room, decent breakfast. We went for breakfast about 8.30 each morning and had no problem getting a table, food always re stocked quickly. Didn't have any other meals at the hotel

The hotel is in a very good position near Wenceslas Square and loads of local restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are quite big with loads of cupboard space, beds are clean and comfortable and there is little or no noise from the road running outside the hotel. The breakfast is excellent with lots of choice, hot or continental options. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

The hotel was very good. It was clean and, on the whole well maintained. We had two small problems (a faulty bulb & door lock) but both were rectified immediately. The location was excellent and very convenient.

Lovely staff and they always had a smile for their guests! But hotel is a little off the beaten track! Room was alright but a little dated and the carpet was really dirty! Don't think we would stay again!
