LABRANDA Blue Bay Resort

We're just returned from a 9-day holiday here and were disappointed!! We had a family room in the main building, the twin room wasn't air-conditioned so we had to have the door between the two bedrooms open all night to try and let some coolness through. This resulted in the double room being freezing and the twin room still being really warm. Beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable! My daughters broke on our fourth day but, to be fair to the maintenance staff, they sorted it by bringing a new bed within a few hours. (Although this was after an argument with reception as they weren’t going to sort it until the following day!! We asked where our daughter was supposed to sleep that night and that seemed to get things moving…) Our room always seemed clean with housekeeping coming everyday but the public toilets were pretty grim! Breakfast was hectic in the main buffet with a lady shouting orders on where we could sit!! Halfway through the break, we realized we could get breakfast at the restaurant by the beach. This was much more relaxed but spoilt by the smell of sewage as you passed the beach bar when you left!! The smell was there throughout our entire break! Dinner was manic too, although there always seemed to be a good selection! We had an evening at the Greek a la Carte on the breach which was wonderful!! There was an Italian too but, on our 9 night stay, we could only go to 1 a la Carte ONCE!! The two restaurants never seemed busy so I don't know why they were so limited. There seemed to be enough loungers for guests and the pools were good but getting in and out was tricky - No steps, just 3-run ladders, most of which were not secure. And you could only get towels every second day! Tricky for us as there was no facility to dry them on our balcony – A wall with no rails and no airer! The "all-inclusive" is not that at all!! Ice cream, pure orange juice, pancakes, smoothies - All chargeable!! As were cocktails if you wanted anything other than a weak blue lagoon or tequilla sunrise. (Be prepared to queue for a while for drinks too!!) We ended up having several evenings eating and drinking out of the hotel which I don't think you should have to do when you've paid for all-inclusive! We couldn't get a late-check out on the last day even though we weren't being picked up for the airport until 9.30pm. We asked several times at reception and kept being told to come back. At 6pm on the day before we were leaving, we were told "No" but they would let us book a shower room for 5pm. This was not ready until 5.25 and was tiny, hadn’t been cleaned and had a mouldy ceiling!! All in all, not what I expected from a 4* hotel.

We had a lovely time here, food was nice always something to choose from, staff were lovely and the entertainment team were amazing, not much around the hotel but loads of lovely places to visit on the river west of the island

Hotel too small for amount of guests. No hot water for a full week and did nothing to sort it in a hurry. Food was average to say the best. Disappointed as Jet2 holidays are usually excellent hotels but this was an exception.

Lovely hotel with excellent staff. Hotel kept really clean, staffwilling to accommodate requests andalwys had a smile Only down side was standard of evening entertainment and the concrete seating in the amphitheatre.

First time at this Hotel. Very good all round, ge Kids entertainment was excellent. There was plenty to do at every time of the Dsy/ night.Tge Food was excellent so was the choice of restaurants. Would recommend this Hotel to any Family looking for a Fun holiday

We loved our stay at Labranda. The staff were friendly, there were an abundance of options for food on site and the amenities (pools, waterpark, beach, etc) were great! The room was basic but adequate, with the exception that we found the mattresses quite uncomfortable. Overall though a great experience and great value for money!

This hotel has lots of facilities but not enough staff ......queue for breakfast and dinner and the another queue for dessert ...... staff not friendly Nd unhelpful ..... aircon in our room was constantly dripping water (rust stain on floor) indicated it was doing this some time .....paid extra for a sea view ....was facing the see but trees blocked the view..... bathroom flooded twice when bath was being let out .....water can up through vent on floor .bed was extremely hard .....advised reception of these problems and nothing was done .... all and all won't be back or recommend the labranda hotel group !

We had a fantastic time at Labranda Blue Bay. If I wanted to pick faults I would have to go looking. Food was great, though breakfast got a little boring, drinks were great, all the staff were great. My daughter loved all the staff, giving hugs and blowing kisses to the girls in the dining hall. Entertainment staff were fantastic. If you want a great holiday I highly recommend this hotel!

Went for my wifes 50th birthday this hotel gives you a wide range of ages from people with children to the more mature we had a bungalow room with our own private pool which I would recommend great snack bar and restaurants great friendly staff . Already looking to book later this year or for next year .

Visited 20th April for one week . Hotel was lovely and the family room was clean and spacious. Hotel staff were all very pleasant and friendly . The food was amazing ! So much choice . Setting was perfect . The children loved the waterpark . Caught the bus to Rhodes and the Old Town and went to Lindos on a coach trip . 15 minute transfer from the Airport . We all had a wonderful holiday . Well done Labranda Blue Bay would love to return .

Bottled water .50€, Orange juice 3.50€, mojito 7.00€, room safe 3€ a day, drinks charged after 12.00pm. The only Al la carte charged at 40€ per person, naturally empty every night.Not the All Inclusive we are used to. Food repetitive and bland, entertainment amateur and embarrassing. Great for plane spotters 15 planes/hour at about 800 feet over the Hotel. Not Good value and not customer friendly at all.

We booked our holiday through jet2 as a package and it was brilliant.When we arrived at the hotel we were told we had an upgrade and this was better than we’d have thought. Our room had a private pool and was conveniently placed just next to the main building.There are lots of options for food and I recommend the gyros by the main pool. The main restaurant has a good selection of local and international food available but could do with a few more variance. The burger house, situated away from the main hotel in the garden area is brilliant and the burgers. are very tasty and filling! Mouses, the reservation only restaurant is nice but be warned if you aren’t a fan of seafood, this isn’t the one for you! Lots of choice with ice cream and there are some good cocktail options (albeit very strong). If you like cats you will love the gorgeous cats who live around the hotel. Staff are very friendly and the hotel is kept very clean and well maintained. Would recommend this to everyone.

We had a great experience at this hotel. Yes there is some noise from aircraft but it was not an issue for us. Food was good. Definitely recommend the pizza and gyros at lunch time. Spent most of our days in the water park which is great for kids.
