Agape Aparthotel

Great stay - everything was clean, it was quiet, great location, I had a balcony overlooking the garden, a cleaner, and it felt secure. Note there's a small tourist tax that you need cash for (around £7 I believe) but there's a cash machine right outside the front door. The only reason I've marked 4/5 for service is that, aside from checking me in, there wasn't much service required!

Good central location, close by amenities. Receptionist friendly on check in and check out. 6000ft key deposit required, 1200ft city tax also required on check in. Accommodation was spacious and clean, don't expect the Ritz though. TV in apartment, if you like watching English language news channels.... Only real downside was the noise from the street below at certain times - late evening, early hours of the morning, we took ear plugs with us, but we're still woken up once or twice from the random people coming home from the pubs in the early hours being noisy. We stayed Monday-Friday, I'm guessing the noise from outside would be a lot worse at the weekend. All in all, a decent place to stay.

Based on a busy street, the rooms were very noisy and the accommodation very basic and quite dark inside. It's also a bit of a distance from the picturesque river area, but once we sorted out the local buses this wasn't so much a problem. OK for a few days.

This apartment hotel has a very good location and the staff are excellent. The apartment has everything you need - microwave, toaster, etc. but is just a bit tired and scruffy. The staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. We were on the 'quiet side' of the block so had no problem sleeping. The other side of the building may be a bit noisey.

I’m only 24 and struggled to sleep on the beds for just 3 nights I’ve returned home with sciatica, our bed was a wooden base with a small price of foam built onto the base. the staff are helpful but nothing onsite you have to go and find your own shops ect. Location very central which is good, making finding shops and bars easy. Wouldn’t stay here again just due to the room being so basic and the beds being a health hazard.

found it difficult to get in to Agape.The door is locked from the street and we were pressing the buzzer but couldn't get the door open, the receptionist had been away from the desk so had not seen us trying to get in.After we had checked in we were given a fob to press which allowed us entry. Had booked 2 studios but was given a 1 bedroom apartment and a studio, which were next to each other but so different in standards of furnishing and decoration.we were not sure which was classed as 1 bedroom as the layout was the same. One room had a bath with shower over, the other had a shower cubicle no bath. the better room had a full cooker and nice kitchen area the other had two electric plates and a microwave and mismatched units. although location was good for places to eat and getting around Budapest we found them to be noisy as quite a few young people werw staying there who seemed to ignore the signs saying to respect other guests and keep quiet. As it was very hot they had windows and doors open and were shouting to us as we passed the garden and were generally noisy during the night.The apartments were clean but towels were not changed on the 3rd day as stated.

Stayed here between 18/4/16 and 22/4/16, The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the apartments have plenty of room and were clean. I arranged transfers from the airport directly with the hotel before arriving and the receptionist arranged a taxi back to the airport when leaving. This is cheaper than arranging through tour operators. It is in a central location within walking distance to most places of interest. There are plenty or bars and restaurants nearby. If returning to Budapest I would stay here agin.
