Prestige Hotel Budapest

This is such a lovely hotel, very welcoming on arrival. The reception is stunning and the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. They kindly upgraded our room as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We were given an Executive Suite on the top floor (floor 6) which was excellent. Everything you would need, comfy bed, Nespresso Machine with capsules and tea bags. Fabulous bathroom with a heated floor !!!! They delivered chocolate and a weather forecast every evening. Complimentary small bottles of water daily. Breakfast is a buffet which we felt was good, the selection was fine.. yoghurt, fresh fruit, nuts, granola, cereal, cold meats, cheese, eggs, bacon, sausages, vegetables, salad, breads, pastries and a pancake machine. Our only issue, and this is a small issue, was that the hot food was hardly warm. Some mornings the eggs were practically cold. Bacon was kept under a light so was warmish.. Regularly the lids were left off the dishes holding the eggs, beans etc.. I think this was so the chefs (who were operating behind the dishes) could top up the dishes. We witnesses the waiters lifting the lids and leaving them open. However it meant the items in the dish just weren't warm. The chefs only put a small selection of warm/hot items out at a time, which is fine but some mornings the pastry basket was empty and stayed like this for a good 15-20 minutes. I guess they were cooking some more... we gave up waiting and had a pancake. Overall breakfast was nice, but it could be so much better. This did not spoil our stay however, we would return in a heartbeat. It is in a fabulous location, everything is iiterally within a 10-15 min walk but its on a nice quiet street.

Amazing hotel amazing staff. All the rooms are perfect amazing interiors. Immaculately presented staff. My daughter's birthday was the day before we arrived on entering our room some bubbly was on ice and a card for her birthday! Cannot find anything negative to say great location too... next time will stay longer.

Just stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Lovely modern room with a very powerful shower. Excellent breakfast. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location and it takes minutes to walk to the Danube.

The hotel and staff were absolutely lovely and I would recommend it to everyone. Great location too! The breakfast choice and quality was excellent. All of this added up to a wonderful weekend with friends.

The facilities were great but what made it such a special stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. We were made to feel so welcome and it made such a difference. This was especially the case at breakfast.
