Atrium Hotel by Mellow Mood Hotels

We stayed 7 nights here and the location was excellent for touring the city either by Metro or tram, it was also perfect for walking into the Jewish quarter. The rooms were clean and large enough. We found the bed to be very comfortable. The buffet breakfast didn’t have a massive choice but it was more than adequate. Occasionally it was difficult to get a table around 9 am which was the busy time but you didn’t have to wait long before one became available. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again when I return to Budapest. The taxi from the airport cost 10,200 HUF. We took the bus back which was easy being only two stops on the Metro to the departure point. The bus cost 2200 HUF each.

Very friendly and helpful Reception staff. Bedrooms are too small. Housekeeping needs some improvement. Poor quality towels, lack of complementary toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities available but not re-stocked. Location is not great, although close to Metro/Tram/Bus routes

The reception and general hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. They checked us in relatively quickly considering there were 15 of us. Rooms were good size with lovely ensuite. Breakfast was buffet style and was very choice with a wide variety of choice.

Stayed four nights mid-april and found the Atrium very good value and sited in a great part of Budapest. The staff were very helpful and polite and the breakfast choice good. Rooms are very clean but not the largest. All the facilities are there although improved lighting would be better. Our stay included my 60th b'day and the hotel left a bottle of champagne in the room which was a nice touch. Several "Ruin Pubs" are nearby which are well worth a visit and plenty bars/cafes all around. Recommend "The Curry House" and yes that's the name, for excellent Asian food and only about 15 mins walk from hotel. Enjoyed our stay and would book again. Recommended for everyone.

This hotel was very clean and modern-the photos are very true to life. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast room in the atrium became crowded later on, but we're early risers so it wasn't a problem. There was a good selection of food at breakfast; the cold variety was better than the hot. Champagne was a nice touch. The room was thoroughly cleaned every day of our short stay. It is about a twenty minute walk into the centre of Budapest or a two minute metro journey, with the nearest metro station being at the end of the road. The hotel is near a big well lit main road into the centre, but it is actually situated on a short, dark street which could un-nerve some people!!!
