The hotel was well situated to get to different areas. The hop on hop off bus was 5 minutes away & the hotel provided tickets. Safe & secure aswell as clean & tidy. Breakfast was good & staff were helpful & friendly with any enquiries or requests.
The Baross City Hotel , as with many in Europe, doesn't look much from the roadside as you enter through a door and corridor into a peaceful inner courtyard. The reception is staffed 24 hours and whoever was on duty was always very helpful and knowledgeable. The room colour schemes are a little old fashioned but our room was spacious , clean , air con and a good sized bathroom with bath and shower. When the hotel is full , we went for the F1 so it was full then the breakfast room struggles to cope with everyone with seating and the provision of drinks and food. It is about a 30 min walk to the Danube and the 'centre' but we loved the walk along some lovely tree lined streets and passing other historical buildings. I would recommend this hotel , and Budapest , for a city break.
We were really disappointed with the location and the hotel was much more basic than we expected. The staff were quite surly and abrupt and breakfast was not enjoyable at all - the pastries were not fresh / water not hot enough to make decent tea /no fresh fruit /overcooked scrambled eggs/ tables left dirty/ no fresh juice / not enough glasses for juice which were then too hot to handle once out of the dishwasher - very disappointing

Staff were very helpful..accessible to all and the room was clean..we are near to all fastfood chain..whenever we nee help they always ready to help

The basic flight fare (including all taxes and non-optional charges), one piece of check-in baggage, accommodation and coach transfers if stated form the ‘FREE’ element of the price. All other ancillary charges on the flight or during the holiday, such as extra legroom and in-flight meals, room upgrades, and optional meal arrangements, and for villas, pool heating, shall be chargeable. Please note, transfers are not included within a Jet2CityBreaks booking.
One Free Child Place is available when there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price. There can only be one Free Child Place per room, or per villa, on the booking. With the exception of villa products, multiple Free Child Places can be booked as long as there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price per child place, each Free Child Place is assigned into a different room and there is availability of Free Child Places. Where a party consists of one adult and two children, one child will be charged the full price applicable to their age and the other child will receive the Free Child Place.
The child age where a Free Child Place would be applicable is displayed on the accommodation description page of the brochure and on our website. The child age on the date of return must not exceed the specified age to be applicable to a Free Child Place.
The full deposit must be paid for the Free Child Place and the deposit will be deducted from the final holiday invoice. This will be displayed at time of booking. If you cancel your holiday there will be a £60 charge payable in respect of the child, in addition to any charges set out in clause 5 of our terms and conditions.
