Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was small but clean and tidy, don’t need anything more for a short break. Breakfast was good, perfect for the day ahead. Can’t really fault it, would go back again.
This was a very clean and comfortable hotel situated in the heart of Budapest with the Great Market Hall and Vasi Street within a few minutes walk. You could cross over to Buda using the Freedom Bridge.
We were in Budapest for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely go back and stay in the same hotel. Excellent location. Brilliant staff - all very pleasant and helpful. Only one complaint and that was that on one occasion over our four day stay the hot buffet ran out at breakfast and took a while to be replenished. That said; it was an extremely busy morning. No complaints otherwise. All very positive.
We stayed for 3 nights in June 2016 and had a great time. The reception and bar staff are fantastic! Very helpful and friendly. I emailed the hotel prior to our arrival to say it was my fiancé's birthday and asked if they could offer anything as a gesture, they had a small bottle of red wine waiting in our room with a little personalised note. The bar manager gave us fresh pastries with our drinks on two occasions. The reception also has tickets for the sightseeing and spas etc.
First and foremost, the hotel is in a brilliant location, a 5 minute walk from The Danube, The Great Market Hall and hop-on, hop-off bus service and 10 minutes walk from the hop-on, hop-off boat service. And within walking distance of most of the main attractions. The rooms are fairly small but adequate for a sight-seeing visit. No bath but great shower facilities. Hair drier provided. Freebie toiletries provided. Clean with a daily room service. Bar OK but no draught beer. Restaurant prices compare favourably with outside eateries. Reception staff are brilliant - helpful, knowledgeable, extremely friendly and they speak excellent English.
Comfortable,clean,great breakfast,,helpful staff and in about the best position possible right next to the central market and 2 mins to the danube. The main shopping street vechi Street is again less than 200 steps from the front door . My only moan is that the whole hotel was heated to tropical temperatures so that the windows had to left open all night

Lovely hotel, fabulous views, great breakfast, so handy for public transport, restaurants. Found staying on the Buda side so much quieter so a lovely night sleep. Would 100 per cent stay again.

One Free Child Place is available when there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price. There can only be one Free Child Place per room, or per villa, on the booking. With the exception of villa products, multiple Free Child Places can be booked as long as there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price per child place, each Free Child Place is assigned into a different room and there is availability of Free Child Places. Where a party consists of one adult and two children, one child will be charged the full price applicable to their age and the other child will receive the Free Child Place.
The child age where a Free Child Place would be applicable is displayed on the accommodation description page of the brochure and on our website. The child age on the date of return must not exceed the specified age to be applicable to a Free Child Place.
The full deposit must be paid for the Free Child Place and the deposit will be deducted from the final holiday invoice. This will be displayed at time of booking. If you cancel your holiday there will be a £60 charge payable in respect of the child, in addition to any charges set out in clause 5 of our terms and conditions.
