Danubius Hotel Erzsebet City Centre

Reasonable hotel in excellent location for visiting the sites. Good value for money. The rooms are small but adequate and clean. Good facilities in hotel, with wine bar and restaurant. Good choice of buffet breakfast.

The Hotel Erzsebet is a very good city centre hotel. Rooms are a good size and cleaned daily. Staff are helpful and friendly, however as the official tourist brochure states Hungarians are "frugal with their smiles!" The location made walking to many places of interest/attractions very easy. Would certainly use this hotel again.

Rooms were very nice. Slept very well. No noise at all. Breakfast was very good . The only thing buffet was very small & when it was busy you had to wait for cooked food. Staff very helpfull. Very central location

The overall feel of the hotel is a little tired and dated however it is in an excellent location in walking distance to many tourist attractions. Tea/coffee making facilities would have been a nice addition but good to have a fridge for cooling soft drinks although Mini Bar items seemed as if they had been there for some time. Room was very warm but temperature could be modified fairly easily with the controls or by opeining the window. The extra small table was a little superfluous to our needs for 4 days and made the room a little cluttered. There was a distinct lack of drawers for putting clothes in also. Beds were comfortable and additional pillows were given on request. Breakfast was very good with a varied selection of hot and cold items – croissants were excellent and it was a particular bonus if they brought out fresh, warm ones whilst you were having your breakfast. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. The only blip was my partner left his heavy jacket in the bar late one night and never saw it again which thankfully was towards the end of our trip or he would have had to purchase another. Our room overlooked the main street and was very quiet. We had a lovely meal in the Meszar Steakhouse also which was great.

Very nice hotel comfy beds good showers excellent location. the only complaint was the food at breakfast wasn't hot enough but good quality and plenty choice. Reception staff very helpful in helping book boat trip etc.

Reception was welcoming and efficient.The room and facilities were as one would expect , The staff pleasant and helpful, The food was of a good standard , and the restaurant service OK,Ehe hotel is well positioned for the tourist.

A nice hotel with polite staff. we were on the 7th floor so no city noise.Although I dont think it was a particularly busy area.The steak house under/in the hotel was really nice.rooms were clean and changed daily.the breakfast had plenty of choice.

Very presentable & certainly central hotel. Good sized room very quiet inside hotel,good breakfast buffet cold and hot items. All in a very enjoyable stay and really loved Budapest,easy to get around and very accessible.
