Eurostars Palazzo Zichy

The entrance to the hotel was beautiful, the bar area was also very nice and the drinks area with unlimited coffee and water was a lovely touch. Room was average but a bit on the small side, the air conditioning was not very good and so the room was very hot during the night. No mirror in the bedroom and the lighting in the bathroom was not good to do your hair and makeup. I mirror in the bedroom by the tv area would be beneficial. Location was good, lots of little bars and restaurants practically outside with a nice vibe. Was a good walk to the river though. All in all not a bad find.

Just back from 6 nights here with Jet2 - a really good experience from start to finish. Lovely quiet room overlooking internal courtyard so no view but very quiet and blackout curtains made it easy to sleep. Friendly staff from start to finish. Room was modern with large bed and plenty of pillows etc - very smart shower room with lots of towels etc. Room cleaned daily. Nice breakfast with all sorts of choices - even bubbly if you wanted! Nice touch was free coffee and bottled water during the day - we stocked up in the morning for the next day - needed it when it was so hot! Check out was 12 noon but no problem in storing luggage til our late pick up. Be warned that there is a city tax payable at the end of the stay - we forgot! Hotel is 5-10 mins walk from 2 underground stations which meant that getting around was easy, Could walk to the city centre very easily too. Plenty of nice bars and restaurants very close by too so ideal. Felt a very safe area. All great

Hotel Palazzo Zichy is a wonderful hotel with a great location and wonderful staff. The facilities are first class and the hotel was spotlessly clean from top to bottom. The food and drinks where wonderful and they offered complimentary tea and coffee all day, everyday. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. The rooms where clean and comfortable with all the facilities that you would require. Very quiet and easy acceptable. Bathroom just perfect. Can't fault the hotel in anyway.

Nice hotel in a good location. Fairly quiet as not right in the centre but still not far away from everything. Rooms were clean and a good size although drinks glasses used previous night were not removed from the room the next day. The air conditioning unit also seemed a little faulty as despite putting the temperature up high it remained very cold in the room. The breakfast was adequate and selection of food was reasonable but not extensive but there was limited seating in the breakfast room and at times no tables available. Overall, the hotel was absolutely fine and no major issues.

We stayed here for 4 nights in October and cannot praise the hotel, it's facilities and it's staff enough. I'm even a little bit proud of myself for finding such a gem in a list of hundreds of hotels in Budapest! Location was fab - just far enough out of the main city centre to be quiet, but a near enough to walk into a few times a day. We often came back to the hotel for a complimentary coffee and well deserved rest before heading out for more sightseeing. The staff - i cannot praise them enough. Nothing was too much trouble and they were just so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with lot's of choice. Room was super clean and spacious, i could have lived in the bathroom alone! My daughter (9) was delighted to see a "foot bath" (bidet) too. I also received a lovely email from the hotel on my return, thanking us for taking the time to complete the feedback questionnaire and i can hand-on-heart say that this was not any old standard letter...they had really read and understood our comments and suggestions. If i was to visit Budapest again I would without doubt choose this hotel again.A truly fabulous place to stay whilst visiting this beautiful city.

Stayed in this hotel for a week in early August. The room was very presentable with modern decor. It was well maintained and very clean. Breakfast was good with a good selection of choices. However the sausages and bacon were disappointing compared to the UK norm. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout, especially the barman - I think his name was Mate. Although it doesn't seem to be in the most central location within the city, it is within a very short walk of the tram network.

fantastic hotel in a good location, easy to walk to all attractions, high quality food and service, staff very helpful and friendly, rooms were of a very high standard, good quality bedding fixtures and fittings, would definitely recommend

I was a bit dubious about the gushing reviews before we travelled for a couple's weekend break in June 2016, but I can honestly say they're accurate! We had a spotless room with excellent power shower, the buffet breakfast was vast with a huge range of options. Special thanks to receptionist Dora for some extra assistance on checking out. We will be returning to this hotel, it's a real find for the price bracket.
