Hotel was lovely, the city was stunning very warm in June and cheap. Food and drink was very reasonable and locals were very friendly and spoke English when asked without a problem. The city does have a lot of homeless people and poverty but they were more of a visual presence than a nuisance.
A lovely clean hotel with comfy beds and a good shower (no bath in our room). We had a "comfort" room and there was plenty of space. The bed was, as we have usually found when on holiday, two singles pushed together, this made a spacious and comfortable bed. The room was cleaned and tidied everyday and towels changed if you left them on the floor. There was a good choice for breakfast which included 2 types of eggs, bacon and sausage (although white baked beans threw me a bit), cereals, yoghurts, breads, preserves, cakes, continental meats and cheeses and fresh and dried fruit. We didn't need to have anything after that until our evening meal. The staff were all polite, friendly and helpful. We found it about a 20-25 minute walk from the hotel to the river. Some reviewers had mentioned the number of sirens they heard and, yes, we did notice this but it is a capital city and I suspect most large cities would have a similar noise. That said it certainly didn't disturb us and our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the road. Only a couple of small things to note - the breakfast room is adequate as long as everyone staying at the hotel doesn't want breakfast at the same time and the staff in the breakfast room need to be a little quicker at clearing tables because of this. Overall a lovely hotel for our 4 night stay.

Smart modern hotel with good facilities & helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Good location for train station and on the bigbus hoponhopoff route. A 30 to 40 min walk to the tourist sights.

The service was excellent the rooms are better in real life in comparison with the pictures. the bathroom was great the showde was good enough towels. The only things i wished was better was the break ... more

The basic flight fare (including all taxes and non-optional charges), one piece of check-in baggage, accommodation and coach transfers if stated form the ‘FREE’ element of the price. All other ancillary charges on the flight or during the holiday, such as extra legroom and in-flight meals, room upgrades, and optional meal arrangements, and for villas, pool heating, shall be chargeable. One Free Child Place is available when there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price. There can only be one Free Child Place per room, or per villa, on the booking. With the exception of villa products, multiple Free Child Places can be booked as long as there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price per child place, each Free Child Place is assigned into a different room and there is availability of Free Child Places. Where a party consists of one adult and two children, one child will be charged the full price applicable to their age and the other child will receive the Free Child Place.
The child age where a Free Child Place would be applicable is displayed on the accommodation description page of the brochure and on our website. The child age on the date of return must not exceed the specified age to be applicable to a Free Child Place.
The full deposit must be paid for the Free Child Place and the deposit will be deducted from the final holiday invoice. This will be displayed at time of booking. If you cancel your holiday there will be a £60 charge payable in respect of the child, in addition to any charges set out in clause 5 of our terms and conditions.
