We had a fantasic time at the hotel. There was a new member of staff when we arrived. I think her name was Tamera (if this isn't right I am sorry) she was very friendly and helpful the whole stay even though she was new. The rest of the staff were great aswell. Fab location... When we eventually worked out where we were as we are rubbish with direction. The breakfast was good for a continental. They are doing a programme were if you don't want your rooms cleaned you can get a free drink. We took them up on this offer and enjoyed 4 lovely pints as we were only there a few days and don't mind doing our little part in saving the planet haha. Overall fantastic experience
We stayed for 4 nights in September, the hotel was in a great location, staff were very helpful and the breakfast and rooms more than adequate. We had no problems at all with this accommodation. The only downside if there was one is that the bottles of water you could buy for the room were very small and expensive, other than that I'd really recommend staying here and will certainly return
Nice,clean modern hotel. Room was nothing fancy but just what was needed for a short city break. Breakfast was really good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, and the surrounding area has lots of good places to eat and drink. The subway and bus services are all nearby. The aircon was a godsend in the summer heatwave!
The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the centre and is in a reasonably quiet area. The hot breakfast offerings where at best Luke warm,and the choice was limited but just enough variety to get by for a few days.
Loved the city of Budapest. The Hotel Ibis City was well furnished and spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and gave us many tips on how to get around the city. First 2 days we used the hop on hop off bus which incorporated two short river Danube boat trips. Last two days we used the local transport - metro, trams and buses - over 65's go free. This let us visit many different areas. Great City Break!
The hotel and staff were very good, so was the breakfast plenty for everyone. We found on arrival that there are 6 Ibis in Budapest so check your location before you book, we were 20 minutes walk to the city centre / river. There was a bit of street noise late at night but no to bad. Very good value for money.

The basic flight fare (including all taxes and non-optional charges), one piece of check-in baggage, accommodation and coach transfers if stated form the ‘FREE’ element of the price. All other ancillary charges on the flight or during the holiday, such as extra legroom and in-flight meals, room upgrades, and optional meal arrangements, and for villas, pool heating, shall be chargeable. Please note, transfers are not included within a Jet2CityBreaks booking.
One Free Child Place is available when there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price. There can only be one Free Child Place per room, or per villa, on the booking. With the exception of villa products, multiple Free Child Places can be booked as long as there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price per child place, each Free Child Place is assigned into a different room and there is availability of Free Child Places. Where a party consists of one adult and two children, one child will be charged the full price applicable to their age and the other child will receive the Free Child Place.
The child age where a Free Child Place would be applicable is displayed on the accommodation description page of the brochure and on our website. The child age on the date of return must not exceed the specified age to be applicable to a Free Child Place.
The full deposit must be paid for the Free Child Place and the deposit will be deducted from the final holiday invoice. This will be displayed at time of booking. If you cancel your holiday there will be a £60 charge payable in respect of the child, in addition to any charges set out in clause 5 of our terms and conditions.
