Great hotel staff helpful and friendly. Small but clean comfortable room, that was great to come back to after a long day visiting the sights. Would have got five stars if the breakfast was I bit better managed took forever for items to be replaced. Saying that, there was so much choic on offer. Coffee machines played up but I as very busy.
The hotel is well located close to the metro, Vaci Utca and Radaya Utca. The staff are lovely and helpful. Breakfast is a little disappointing as it's entirely self-service. So when things run out or break down, it's a long wait for it to be remedied. Our room was not great, so we spent as much time as possible outside it in beautiful Budapest.
An ideal place to stay in Budapest, we were only there for a 3 night winter visit but it was an ideal location to see everything. Very friendly and helpful, especially the concierge. Comfortable room good and varied breakfast with some local tastes. Good pub just opposite the main entrance.
excellent situation, not far to any where. Continental breakfast was very good and bar prices were good. Nothing was too much trouble for reception to do i.e. directions, transport back to the airport
The wile holiday was amazing, Budapest is an amazing city we loved it. The Mercure Korona was lovely hot the frontage and the faculties are well maintained and modern. The room was clean and well looked after but the interior wasn't as modern as the rest of the hotel. the position for sightseeing is amazing as the nearest metro stop Kalvin Ter was outside the hotel. One place to go definitely is Skimpla Kert the ruin pub it is an experience to remember if you like the pub and bar environment. Also the Thermal baths are something to see as it is relaxing and a great experience and it was only 12 pounds with a Locker. Me and friends didn't want to come home what an experience. Wow WE ❤️BUDAPEST
This was a fantastic location for a visit to Budapest. However the rooms were quite small and we couldn't get an accessible room for our disabled companion. Rooms were also poorly lit. Our room safe didn't work and wasn't attended to, despite three requests to reception staff. On the plus side, the hotel kindly delivered a cake to one of our party who was celebrating her birthday. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful while others were quite abrupt. Breakfast wasn't bad although most of the coffee machines stopped working.

Hotel is good location for Hop on Off Bus stop and on edge of inner city so could be walked. It was all you could expect from an average 4* hotel. The continental breakfast had plenty of choice with fresh fruit and various types of bread on offer. The rooms were well presented and clean. Budapest is beautiful city.
The hotel was great, very central, clean and friendly. It was my birthday whilst away and waiting in our room was a bottle of bubbly and a cake. Very unexpected but welcome. There are lots of good restaurants in the area and the 48 hour bus trip is well worth doing, even has a boat trip included.
This hotel is well situated for travelling all over Budapest. Staff were friendly and helpful. breakfast was good and plentiful and the night we dined at the bistro we got a lovely meal. The shower in the bathroom is wrongly placed and no shower curtain was available, so daily we flooded the bathroom! The extractor fan was not working in the bathroom and though we reported this it was never fixed. The rooms could do with a lick of paint. Overall we had a lovely break.
Great hotel and reasonable room rates., fantastic location. Enough distance to get to each place. Breakfast is fine too. Pretty good choice to choose from. Reception can help you buy the hop on hop off bus tours so make use of asking.

One Free Child Place is available when there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price. There can only be one Free Child Place per room, or per villa, on the booking. With the exception of villa products, multiple Free Child Places can be booked as long as there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price per child place, each Free Child Place is assigned into a different room and there is availability of Free Child Places. Where a party consists of one adult and two children, one child will be charged the full price applicable to their age and the other child will receive the Free Child Place.
The child age where a Free Child Place would be applicable is displayed on the accommodation description page of the brochure and on our website. The child age on the date of return must not exceed the specified age to be applicable to a Free Child Place.
The full deposit must be paid for the Free Child Place and the deposit will be deducted from the final holiday invoice. This will be displayed at time of booking.
