A bit of a way out but not a problem with hop on hop off buses, the underground or a good walk. Room spotless, breakfast plenty of choice & reception very helpful. My only gripe is the uninspiring bar. the bar lacked atmosphere was relatively expensive and the cocktail of the week turned out to be vodka and soda hardly exciting for around the £8 mark. Also we found our room to be too warm over night but the aircon is not on until the summer months(we went in March) so we had to leave the windows open in the evening when we went out as we needed to close them to sleep to block out the main road traffic.
Near to city centre has tube and bus stops just over the road. Plenty of restaurants and bars near by. Breakfast was good plenty of choice staff very helpful and polite. Had evening meal which was very nice.
Lovely hotel with effecient friendly staff. Only problem was the traffic noise. There were shutters at the windows which drowned out some noise but had to be kept closed and the room was rather hot!!! The air- con was not overly efficient either...i am a very light sleeper....didn't bother my husband as much as me!!!
Very nice hotel about 5-10mins walk from the square. Ideal location with very friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again. Some reasonably priced restaurants near by with excellent food.Good hygiene standards.
Hotel was good, location was ok, bit to walk to get to attractions, breakfast was good but there was limited seating and can get very busy. There was Christmas party nights on when we stayed very noisy in the main areas but quiet in room. Would stay here again.
Great for a city break. We went midweek, Plenty of restaurants, Noticed a popular Irish bar in center that looked busy with good prices, in general expect uk prices in this city as it is the capital. Weather was very warm for beginning of October. River dinner cruise with entertainment very good, we went on (piano dual) dinner cruise, Very good. Also visit New York Cafe for opulence. Buy hop on/off bus pass for 48 hrs, it includes a river trip to the island.
Stayed here for four nights in Feb and I can say the place is great. Nicely decorated superb breakfast selection, helpful staff . There is a gym and fitness suite downstairs and although I didn't use it I did pop down for a look, and like the rest of the hotels facilities I cannot fault it. To sum up I highly recommend you use this for your choice in budapest.
The hotel was "nice", it was clean. Great selection for breakfast. Reception staff were ..... Pleasant.... but that's it ..... There were clearly some staff that shouldn't be working in the hospitality industry. Hotel is pretty central
The hotel room was spacious and clean. The staff were helpful and attentive. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice from continental too a cooked breakfast. Breakfast ran until 10 o'clock in the week and 11 o'clock at weekends if you did want to have a lie in you didn't miss it.

The basic flight fare (including all taxes and non-optional charges), one piece of check-in baggage, accommodation and coach transfers if stated form the ‘FREE’ element of the price. One Free Child Place is available when there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price. There can only be one Free Child Place per room, or per villa, on the booking. With the exception of villa products, multiple Free Child Places can be booked as long as there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price per child place, each Free Child Place is assigned into a different room and there is availability of Free Child Places. Where a party consists of one adult and two children, one child will be charged the full price applicable to their age and the other child will receive the Free Child Place.
The child age where a Free Child Place would be applicable is displayed on the accommodation description page of the brochure and on our website. The child age on the date of return must not exceed the specified age to be applicable to a Free Child Place.
The full deposit must be paid for the Free Child Place and the deposit will be deducted from the final holiday invoice. This will be displayed at time of booking. If you cancel your holiday there will be a £60 charge payable in respect of the child, in addition to any charges set out in clause 5 of our terms and conditions.
