The promenade city hotel is a very clean well appointed hotel in the pedestrian Vaci street, which is a great location to explore Budapest from. The staff were very friendly and helpful, booking trips and taxis giving useful advice and information. The breakfast which is buffet style was plentiful and a really good selection of continental and cooked meats and eggs. Fresh fruit and yogurt The only downside was the air-con was noisy even when turned off, otherwise an excellent hotel with no problems, I would stay here again.
Great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice big rooms that are very clean. Good breakfast. Great value for money. Even though it is on the main street it is very quiet. Would recommend. Been here twice now and would definitely go back again.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The location is great right in the heart of Budapest. The room was excellent staff helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was adequate. We were at the front of the hotel and ,left the window open the 1st night and it was a little noisy,however there is a/ c so no need to have a window open problem solved. I would recommend this hotel
Staff really nice and friendly. Rooms clean. Great location. Breakfast is self service and adequate. Budapest is a great City to visit. Hotel in great location to see the sights. Some guests might have a problem with street noise and if concerned request room at the back of the hotel. However we stayed in room overlooking the Main Street and did not find it a problem. Would recommend.
great little hotel. ideally placed in the city centre on a pedestrian only street. lovely rooms. great breakfast. friendly helpful staff. lots of great shops, cafes nearby. Handy for metro station. good value
Could not be better situated; clean, fresh and airy with a modern feel about it; good size bedrooms & en-suite; nicely decorated; helpful and friendly staff; reasonable buffet breakfast; excellent value.
Value for money, you could walk to all the main attraction. Near bars and restaurants and good shops. The Jewish area is full of cheap bars but are good. We went when football was on went to watch Hungary with the locals good fun
The Promenade City hotel was a lovely and clean hotel with nice decor and it was in an excellent location. It was on a busy pedestrian walkway, close to shops, cafés and restaurants. The Danube was a short walk away, as was the stop for the hop on, hop off bus. The staff in the hotel were always friendly and helpful.

Good value for the money. Placement is near to the architectural monuments from downtown. Is very quiet during the night. Ease acces to the public transport and to Danube as well.

One Free Child Place is available when there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price. There can only be one Free Child Place per room, or per villa, on the booking. With the exception of villa products, multiple Free Child Places can be booked as long as there are at least 2 passengers paying the full price per child place, each Free Child Place is assigned into a different room and there is availability of Free Child Places. Where a party consists of one adult and two children, one child will be charged the full price applicable to their age and the other child will receive the Free Child Place.
The child age where a Free Child Place would be applicable is displayed on the accommodation description page of the brochure and on our website. The child age on the date of return must not exceed the specified age to be applicable to a Free Child Place.
The full deposit must be paid for the Free Child Place and the deposit will be deducted from the final holiday invoice. This will be displayed at time of booking. If you cancel your holiday there will be a £60 charge payable in respect of the child, in addition to any charges set out in clause 5 of our terms and conditions.
