Hotel Altamadores

Its a great hotel to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Everything is all on the same level (swimming pool, splash park, play area, bar and restaurant) apart from the sports pitch so it's easy to spot where your children are at all times. Staff are fantastic, really friendly and up for a laugh and banter. Food is good but could do with a bit more of variety for picky children. Rooms are spacious and comfortable but the pillows could be better

As fantastic as always. We have been coming to this hotel for about 13 years and every holiday is wonderful. All the staff at the hotel work as a team & they are all lovely. We get such a warm welcome every time we return. Every part of the hotel, including your room, is kept very clean & tidy. The self service drink works perfectly and the food is fantastic, absolute credit goes to the chefs. Have to mention BBQ night which is our family favourite & we all consider what we eat for breakfast & lunch to make sure we leave plenty of room! Jamie G, a great guy who has been keeping us entertained for a number of years and does a fab job.....we love his poolside quiz and have been lucky enough to win a few times too! In June this year we also had the pleasure of being entertained by Vicky & Prassana who are equally great. Prassana never failed to make us laugh & Vicky's personality shines, she is just such a lovely person. Karelyn, Nilo & Evelyn have all been at the hotel since our first holiday and deserve a mention as they are very special people and we are honoured to have shared so many holidays with them. Also a call out to Fredrico & Alona as they too give us a personal welcome. I know I've mentioned some names but a big thank you goes to everyone & the warm friendly welcome they give us and all other guests. The even better news is that we are coming back in September to do it all again and can't wait. See you all in September xx

Returned for a third time, was not as good as previous two visits. Alot of spanish holiday makers some extremely nice some very rude & ignorant. Food has changed, not a good selection as previously, also food very very cold. Beer has changed to cheap tropical lager which is not very nice. Cost £650 each for 7 nights but do not believe we got value for money as we did before. Jamie G still works soo hard but he cannot be there 7 days & nights, you could tell when he was not around. Sorry but will not go again.

We stayed for 7 nights all inclusive and loved the food and drink available. The hotel is clean and the junior suite rooms are very spacious with a big balcony. The location of the hotel is a short walk to Amadores Beach which is beautiful and it's a short taxi into Puerto Rico shopping centre which has lots of bars and restaurants. The pool area has plenty of sunbeds and has great views, we loved our stay and would recommend it to everyone.

Can’t fault this hotel. Rooms were immaculate,receptionists, cleaners, bar/waiting staff all worked their butts off and they were happy to help in any they could. This an all inclusive hotel and I Would think it would be really busy during the high season. The bus to the main strip and beach is every hour from 9am-10pm. I would recommend using the bus as it’s a hell of a walk otherwise. Definitely would go back.

The apartments were nice Clean and bed comfortable. The staff were very Friendly and helpful the only down side to this hotel was the food although we always found something to eat as we are not fussy, I think if you were you would struggle and it wasn't very hot, although it seamed to get better as the week went on so not sure if they had a a few complaints. We went in November so they had a free bus that went every hour and picked up but not sure this runs during the Summer months. I would go again if i was looking for a quiet week in the sun as it was very relaxed and comfortable hotel.

Hotel is smaller than you think, nice location if you like to walk (which we did). Food choice is limited, although there is always something you can make into a dinner. Smallest all inclusive resturant i have been to though. Service is self service which is great so no need to annoy the staff. Nightime entertainment could be better however we went out most night due to this. Adult only sunbathing area has beautiful views. Have to pay for your towels to sunbathe if you want them changed during your stay which i found strange. Restuarant staff quick at clearing up the used plates etc and they were very nice. Its an ok hotel but needs some improvements

The service at this hotel is amazing and the staff are all very friendly and welcome you when you arrive as if they New you all your life and the experience you get on arrival to departure from hotel is second to none

Hotel very nice worth recommending only Very uncomfortable beds in the kitchen and paying the same as for the beds in the bedroom it is unacceptable Service very nice pool pleasant food good A bit boring evening shows

Excellent place for holiday. Food drink, accommodation staff very good. views from all rooms and pool a few amazing. Loved being able to eat meals on terrace. Adult pol was excellent as was children's pool areas. Walk to and from beach gave good exercise tho cheap taxi service available.

Just returns from 7 nights with my husband and 2 children. What a lovely place. Couldn’t pick fault with anything. Kids had a fantastic time, and so did the parents 👍 the AstroTurf around the pool is a fantastic idea as we have a toddler and we didn’t have to worry about her slipping over. Our 2 bedroom apartment was amazing!! 2 ensuites and massive living area. The hotel staff were very helpful and the food was very nice. Would definitely go back.

Great for a relaxed holiday with kids. Set up the hill and out of the way, but well worth it. Animation team consists of one guy, but he is very good and not pushy to join the activities. Rooms a touch tired, but ours had aircon and a fridge. Food very good if you like meat, fish and salad, but think it repeats on a weekly basis. Can always get burger or hotdog for the kids The nearby beach is great, although sand very coarse.
