Guests will receive 3 rounds of golf per 5 night stay at the Abama 18-hole golf course. The golf course is located on-site. Your rounds of golf will be booked across the duration of your holiday. The package also includes one spa access per person.
How to book
Bookings have to be a 5 night-stay duration in order to qualify for the golf packages available at The Ritz-Carlton Abama.
Tee-off times
Your tee-off times will be confirmed to you within 7 working days of booking your holiday. These will be booked on your behalf based upon the best availability at the time of booking. Tee-off times will be between 08.00 and 15.00.

The golf course was created by Dave Thomas, designer of Ryder Cup and European Tour venues, and is widely regarded as one of his greatest achievements in his 50 years of experience developing professional courses. The course contains over 300 species of subtropical plant life, including over 20,000 palm trees. Almost all of the holes of the course have spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and the island of La Gomera.

Additional Information
- Customers are unable to request any specific tee-off times. These will be arranged based upon the best availability at the time of booking.
- Tee-off times are based on playing in four-balls. If you are not in a group of 4, you may be paired up with other golfers on the day.
- You should expect a playing time of 4 to 4.5 hours as a reasonable pace of play, however this can be slower in busy periods.
- There is a handicap limit of 28 (men) and 36 (ladies). You may be asked to provide proof of your handicap.
- Correct golf attire and soft spiked shoes are required.
- Golf buggies are included and can be requested directly with the hotelier and reserved locally, subject to availability.
- Golf club carriage on our aircraft & club hire in resort is not included. Club hire can be requested directly with the hotelier and reserved locally, subject to availability.
- Course maintenance may occur from time to time at short notice which may result in partial course closures.
- Transfers to the Abama golf course are included and will be organised locally.
- Please note: the hotel is also available to book without golf packages included.

Free Child Places Ages
Terms & Conditions
- Free Child places are subject to availability and are only applicable on selected hotels / departure dates / departure points / room types and board basis. Free Child Places may be added or withdrawn at any time prior to booking and the latest availability will be shown prior to booking.
- Free Child places are available for holidays departing on or after the 1st April 2013.
- One Free Child place is available when there are at least 2 full paying adults. There can only be one Free Child place per room on the booking. Multiple Free Child places can be booked as long as there are at least 2 full paying adults per child place and each Free Child place is assigned into a different room and there is availability of free child places.
- The child age where a Free Child would be applicable is displayed on the hotel description page of the brochure and on our website. The child age on the date of return must not exceed the specified age to be applicable to a Free Child.
- The basic flight fare, flight taxes and charges, one piece of check-in baggage, accommodation and shuttle transfers form the "FREE" element of the price. Air passenger Duty (APD), airport taxes and charges are still applicable and will be included in the price shown at time of booking. All other ancillary charges on the flight or during the holiday, such as legroom and in-flight meals, room upgrades, and optional meal arrangements, shall be chargeable.
- Free Child Places cannot be combined with any other promotions or offers, unless otherwise stated.
- Free Child Places are applicable to new bookings only.
