Barcelo Corralejo Sands

Chose this hotel mainly for the location, but also because we prefer smaller hotels. The hotel is close to the main street in the resort, but not so that you'd notice noise. Great food in the hotel; breakfast and dinner in main restaurant, lunch at poolside bar/restaurant. Good food choices with themed nights in the evening. Separate kiddies area away from main pool meant you could relax by the pool. Staff in hotel were great from reception, restaurant, bar and entertainment - great for kids (not that we had any with us). We were all inclusive so didn't need to worry about payments, etc. other than tips (not compulsory, but deserved). Room was a good size with a separate lounge area. Good size bathroom with shower. Short walk (about 10-15 mins) to the beach where you could lie in the sun or take part in water sports activities (good for kite surfing due to winds).

This was our second trip here, it’s a lovely hotel, we had a ground floor suite right next to the pool and it was a beautiful room. The whole place is spotless and the food and service at the pool bar is excellent. Great food and choice at breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. All the ladies at reception were lovely and very very helpful, in face we are returning next year. The hotel is in a central location to all bars, shops and a short stroll to the beach.

Excellent stay. All staff helpful and welcoming. Hotel spotless. Food very good- fresh and plenty of choice, waiting staff very efficient. Courtesy coach to sand dunes daily. Beach,shops,bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Casually mentioned to Patrizia on reception that we were celebrating our milestone wedding anniversary belatedly as unable to travel at the time due to lockdown. Returned to our room the next day to find a bottle of bubbly chilling and a selection of cakes ! Greatly appreciated this gesture, thank you so much. No hesitation in recommending Sands ,will definitely return.

Very good hotel with friendly helpful staff , great selection of food for all meal times provided everything kept clean at all times . Everything in the rooms that you would expect including a kettle , tea & coffee. Nice clean pool & separate pool & entertainment area for kids . Good central position with all amenities close by . Would highly recommend and will more than likely return at some point .

Staff good in all areas. Food very good, best gluten free selection for my wife. Entertainment good. Pool area and pool bar very good too. Food at lunchtime in pool bar exceptional. Branded spirits on all- inclusive.

We have just returned home from a weeks holiday the hotel is great and staff are very pleasant and friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms with the whirlpool are very comfortable would definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Ideally located in resort centre. Stayed half board - good variety of food. Very helpful and experienced chef's. All staff work hard to make your holiday enjoyable.

The hotel is centrally located,clean,provides good food, a welcome drink at reception areas, coffee was always hot and fresh from coffee maker dispenser and entertainment was of good quality, more suitable for 1-8year olds and may not please older 8-16 years. Entertainment was good for adults in the theatre.

Everything else about the hotel is great, but the quality of the food has deteriorated since 2018. The hotel management denies this, but sausages twice within days at an evening meal in a **** hotal is not good. As was beef burgers twice in our eleven day stay. A real shame given how good the hotel was in every other aspect.
