Lopesan Villa Del Conde Resort & Thalasso with 4 Rounds of Golf Included

Whilst this is a large scale hotel, it clearly strives to provide each guest with a personalised service. Our arrival at Reception was met with a warm welcome and without asking -our room was upgraded to one with a side sea view. There are a number of swimming pools designed to meet individual needs and our very comfortable room was close to the "quite pool" that suited us.The food at the Buffet Restaurant that we mainly used - was excellent with wide choices that changed every day. One criticism was the failure of Reception to answer the telephone promptly if at all, whenf telephoned from our room for any reason.

We booked this hotel through Jet2 holidays, on their indulgent escape packages, cannot complain about anything! Both Jet 2 and Villa del Conde were fabulous, professional and made our winter holiday absolutely perfect. From arriving at the airport we had private transfers, the hotel was immaculate, very nice room overlooking the quiet pool, the breakfast had something for everybody and the OVO restaurant in the hotel was particularly good. All staff were lovely local people and very nice to see the older generation not forgotten at this hotel, great team work and efficiency. We are not ones for hotel entertainment but the acts at Lopesan are top class , we particularly enjoyed the Queen tribute band with amazing guitarists. Only one complaint the drinks measures!.....wow they are big, had a little bit of memory loss each morning and really wanted to remember more about the previous evenings!!!

This was our 4th visit and we loved it just as much as the first! We had a room in H block which had recently been renovated giving it a slightly more modern vibe. Renovation work was continuing in one block and in the poolside restaurant while we were there but this did not impinge on our enjoyment. Looking forward to our next visit.

A first class hotel with excellent facilities, a pleasant,relaxed atmosphere and good food.in September the few kids were mostly Spanish and were given somewhat more licence than Brits would normally allow. Overall, it's an excellent hotel that we enjoyed very much.

We have been coming to this hotel for 10 years and have visited at least 16 times. The hotel over the years has always remained in immaculate condition, the grounds are beautiful. Even though it is a large hotel the layout makes it feel like a small village giving a very welcome and homely feel. The location is fantastic with a pleasant short walk to the boulevard and only 20mins from the airport. The staff and service are always friendly and professional. I really can’t fault it and look forward to our visit every year.

This hotel is an absolute delight! They are having some areas refurbished, however it wasn't a massive issue for us. I love the Lopesan hotels and this one did not disappoint. I would also recommend the OVO restaurant. The food was gorgeous. All in all a great holiday!

We had a great time on this holiday. The hotel was beautiful, reception area was has dropping and staff very friendly. I couldn't think of anything bad to write. Definitely recommend people to stay here:-)

Another great holiday in this hotel. A few changes this year, some for the better, some not so good. The quality and choice of food was not at the same standard as in previous years but still OK. Good to note that the WiFi and safe issues have been resolved although some work is still needed on the standard of the evening entertainment. I cannot understand why there is a discotheque which is clearly underutilised and never sees a music deck in use! Surely a missed opportunity to provide entertainment after the show (if in that area) finishes at 10.30pm. The staff in all areas of the hotel are very warm and welcoming. On the not so good side, there didn't seem to be the same emphasis on managing the reserving of sunbeds, in two weeks I only saw this in operation 3 times. I'm also not sure about the new Unique group of clients which has been created. They seem to have their own allocated areas by the pool and in the restaurant but can still use any area they wish. This limits the choice of opportunities for the majority of clientele and creates a 'class' system which I am not sure is helpful. Overall another very good holiday which with a few adjustments by the hotel management, could see this being an excellent location once again.

Requested a quiet room which we supposedly got. Felt like we were sharing a room with three other occupants, snoring all night, baby crying and up at 6. Clacking heels, moving furniture into late at night . When we mentioned it to reception was told to report it to security, totally inappropriate . Also felt like we were sharing a bathroom. If you are looking for a restful environment or a lie in forget it. The domestic workers were very friendly but very noisy.. Food is as good as self service allows but it's feeding frenzy, if you like the cold salads these are excellent. Hot food never really hot. All staff were very friendly. The pool and garden areas are meticulously maintained with plenty of sun beds .

We arranged this trip via Jet-2 and all went very well to plan with no hic-ups. The hotel is first class with excellent facilities - a well maintained village like, campus. Food, service, swimming pools and evening entertainment on-site meant everything was pretty well self-contained, so no real need to travel far. Melonares itself offers pleasant coastal walks with up-market shops and restaurants close to hand, though the hotel fare was so good, we rarely used outside facilities.I would happily use both Jet-2 and this hotel group again.
