HD Parque Cristobal Gran Canaria & Aqualand Waterpark

Stayed for 10 days in mid-January. We had a basic (superior) room - but it still had a living area, plus bedroom and bathroom. The rooms are all bungalow style, and nicely spaced around the grounds, with all having a patio/terrace at the front, with table and chairs, plus sun beds. The living area has a small fridge plus tea/coffee making facility. There is a sofa bed (didn’t use), a chair and a big tv. There is bathroom has a walk in shower, with a rainfall shower head. The bedroom has twin beds pushed together, which gives you a huge bed, nice and comfy, with 4 big pillows and various cushions too. There is a big wardrobe, with shelves too, so plenty of storage for clothes. We stayed around the main pool, where there are plenty of sun beds - never had a problem getting beds. Pool towels are available from the spa, for a €15 deposit, which you get back. We were all inclusive, and were able to find food we liked at every meal. Always lots of fresh salads and fruits, plus hot options, and lovely puddings. Drinks are fairly basic on AI, but nice, with a selection of cocktails included. Entertainment was fun - the animation team worked really hard, but always seemed to be having lots of fun. We used local buses to visit Faro lighthouse, and walked to the Yumbo Centre too. Good location if you don’t mind a little walk. There is a supermarket just outside the grounds, which you can access via a gate using your wristband. Rooms use your wristband for entry instead of carrying a key/card which is really great. This was our 2nd visit here - our 1st time we had an emblem suite with garden/hot tub etc. which was great, but we enjoyed it just as much this time, without all the added extras. Really like this hotel, and hope to return again in the future.

What a place and the staff are friendly and it's really clean and good food we will definitely be coming back here

Lovely hotel very clean only downside was no all-inclusive until 11am /If are a family kids want soft drinks from early.Room spotless nice size would definitely return here very near to everything

A lot of good stuff but also some significant negatives. For example the ground are beautiful, and the lifeguards are great with the kids. Reception staff unhelpful once you decline the all inclusive option, late checkout is a lottery nobody seems to win and we had a couple of maintenance issues that weren't acknowledged when we bought them up. Location is good, recommend 2Brothers nearby to eat, Hyperdino on site is useful. Wouldn't return, but would fly jet2 again as rhey were brilliant.

Our first holiday post covid and our first AI as a family of 5! Seriously can’t fault Parque Cristobel. Our ‘Flinstone’ House as my kids likes to call it was perfect location and ultra clean. We couldn’t keep our kids out of all the pools and we even enjoyed the aqua activities and the use of the indoor and outdoor gym and kids club. The food was great, variety each night. It did get busy at peak times so on occasion we didny sit with our other family but that was didn’t bother us! The hotel is on the outskirts of town but walkable or a short taxi ride from dunes. A bus can take you to thd beach too. We are definitely planning to go back! It was just the holiday we needed after a winter of rain :)
