We have stayed at this hotel several times. This hotel is very conveniently placed, as it is not far to the sea front and also next to the bus routes for explorers.It is an adults only hotel which suits us.The meals are a buffet type service , which is quite repetitive but plenty of choice.The only problem was that the hairdryer was in the bathroom and very low down and was not movable. But otherwise the room was comfortable. The front desk were also very helpful..

Excellent hotel ! This our second stay at Colon Guanahani - we stayed for 1 week last February, but 10 days this year which says a lot ! We are considering 2 weeks next February if we can, and Half Board instead of B&B ! We are really pleased with the cleanliness, and quality of everything, and delicious food. We especially appreciated the friendliness, thoughtfulness, and professionalism of ALL the staff Thank you to everyone Liz & John Fletcher

Wonderful hotel and wonderful staff. Beautiful outside terrace - perfect for breakfast and evening dining. La Pergola poolside restaurant is superb - a very romantic setting for a delicious dinner. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean - the pools and sunbathing areas peaceful and relaxing. This hotel is a hidden gem - highly recommended!

Lovely hotel our room was large and kept very clean and led out onto the pool area. Plenty of sunbeds. Pool on roof was small but enjoyed going in it for a cool down. The food was ok (my partner thought it was lovely) but that could be due to me being ill. Hotel kept clean.

Second visit and would go back again and again. Accommodation great, staff very attentive and breakfast just what is needed. Even received a thank you gift and personal call to thank us for returning to the hotel. Couldn't ask for more. We will be back.

Good food,comfortable bed and a friendly,efficient staff who seemed to switch easily between languages for a mixed bag of guests.A gym and spa are provided at no extra cost as is a room safe.Entertainment is limited but the overall feeling given is of quiet(and well-fed ) comfort.

Very noisy hotel for being All Adult. As we didn't know about reserving/paying for table at Hogmanay Party we were excluded from sitting with other residents who had been told/asked to purchase a bottle of champagne at a cost of 81 euros to join in the Hogmanay celebrations. When booking this holiday at no time was it stated we had to pay for the Hogmanay Party or mentioned on arrival. We were told only 2 seats left to purchase and there was 4 of us. Only seats available was outside on the terrace or upstairs at the reception area. My wife who doesn't drink alcohol and I who has recently had an illness could not consume alcohol. Weather was poor to be seated outside. Later in evening 2 other residents were seated free as they brought a table from outside the terraced area but couldn't accommodate anymore as there was no space. After reporting this to management we received a letter of apology but couldn't comment further until they spoke to staff. Day before departure we received a bottle of water and a basket of fruit as a compliment from the hotel.

Adults only first class would recommend this hotel to anyone over the age of fifty, loungers beside the pools with no one getting any problems with reserving a bed. Very pleasant walk to La Calleta along the promenade do consider going full board and upgrading to a superior room well wort the extra money.

Quiet hotel clean well maintained all of the staff friendly and professional pools never crowded lovely to eat outside due to the fact it's adults only a few young couples but mainly 50+ fit the brief. Enjoyed the half board option relaxed evenings and the overall relaxed atmosphere

Everything about this hotel is first class, friendliest staff I have ever come across. Stayed for a week as a birthday surprise, my wife couldn't have chosen better. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone and would certainly return.
