Hotel Cavtat

Great location for this hotel. Rooms a bit small and not much storage, but balcony and fab sea view made up for this Food good not five star but good enough. Plenty of choice of everything. Just make sure you go early to breakfast. We we there just after seven and nice and quiet. After nine absolutely rammed. Also don't know why but no teaspoons!!! Pool area lovely, but too many sunbeds, too close together , need to remove a few to make it more comfortable. Overall, good hotel lovely location only short walk into .cavtat . If these few issues were dealt with would be perfect.

My third time with Hotel Cavtat, and it remains a great hotel. It’s not 5 stars but gives the visitor a wonderful experience anyway. It’s so central, on the flat so very accessible, and staff are extremely friendly and helpful, especially the ladies on reception. I can’t recommend it enough. Will go back sometime. Book a room with view over the bay and enjoy the fabulous sunsets. Viva Croatia. Arthur and Christine. 611.

The rooms are ok but a bit basic. The TV didn't work for English channels. The dining room is just chaos. There's no flow around the food. There was little or no atmosphere around the hotel, The staff were like cardboard cut outs.

Enjoyed the stay over the seven days. Clean and tidy hotel with friendly staff who where their if required. More variety at breakfast would have been nice, however it’s not a five star resort so you cant grumble to much. Food at the evening dinner was presented in plastic type boxes with lids on which was not very appealing to the eye, similar to Joes cafe on the motorway. However it tasted fine to me who only ate in the hotel twice on rainy nights.

This was a lovely Hotel. The downside was the food was really poor. I know it is hard to cater for large amounts of people of varying nationalities, but the food really was poor. They had shark on the menu twice and it looked like a piece of rubber. The soups and desserts were okay, but the rest of it, I would give it a miss. On a more positive note, the breakfasts were really nice, plenty of choice and omelettes cooked fresh while you waited. The other downside to the Hotel was that there was no disabled access from what we could see. My husband hurt his ankle on holiday and although there are lifts in the Hotel, you still need to walk down stairs to get out of the Hotel, or to get to the dining room. This Hotel would be no good for families with pushchairs or anyone using a wheelchair as there were no ramps at all in the Hotel.

Nice hotel. Could do with bigger bar and indoor pool. Breakfast very good. Beautiful view from hotel.. lovely resort good restaurants. Michael travel agency next to hotel excellent.. booked 3 trips with him. . Easy access to Dubrovnic and other places of interest.

Clean and comfortable rooms with fabulous view from the balcony. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. In a super coastal location with plenty of bars and restaurants, scenic walks and easy access to Dubrovnik.

This place is that laid back even the birds don't make a noise, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday. Tip if your going to Dubrovnik take a water taxi much better than the bus.Great place great people hope to go back asap,

Stayed at the Hotel Cavtat in Cavtat Aug 12th to 19th.Resort itself is nice resort , there is no sandy beach as such but pebbly , but sea is nice & whole area is clean. Harbour area is really nice but expensive.Hotel itself is nice & clean.Stall friendly & helpful.Rooms nice & clean make sure you get a balcony not a box room, we had to upgrade. Beds comfy.Swimming pool on a small terrace so not ideal & poor layout , also not for children although they were there, some out of control climbing on the glass panels, parents not watching.Prices on our side of the resort good in the bars etc..Overall we a good time.Dubrovnik is a must visit.

Although I paid a single supplement for what I thought would be a double or twin room I only had a basic single. Almost all the other rooms had a wonderful sea view, mine did not and merely had a side view. The breakfasts were the same every day without any variety. The evening meals were ok but , again, hardly any variety.
